Well then I look forward to seeing your enthusiastic posts supporting Blatt if and when the team gels and makes a run at the NBA finals.

Saddens me to say this, but this current constructed team WOULD NEVER make it to the Finals.

You just said "You can't possibly have this much talent on a roster, and fail to distribute the scoring properly amongst your top 3 players".

So what is it, the players, the coach, or your PMS?

You're arguing for the sake of arguing.

He had the same opinions even before Blatt had his first NBA game. What saddens me is to see a fan who is happier to see a coach or a player he doesn't like fails than his team winning - this for me question how you "invested" in your team…
Over the years I used to dislike or not agree with lots of players/coaches/front office personals, but the success of the teams I root for always came first.
just my humble opinion.

People were calling for Spoelstra's head after their first 10 games too. He's one of the top coaches in the league. I'm not ready to judge Blatt yet. He has made some mistakes but he will learn from them. One thing I will say is that if I'm Dion Waiters, I'm very pissed right now watching a rookie make mistakes and keep playing over me down the stretch.

LeBron threw the ball out of bounds in the last minute and then dribble off his leg. He fell down on a missed layup for God's sake. They were in the game until the end and blew consecutive possessions. All execution IMO.

Obviously you skipped the point of the argument, the blame falls on the coaching for not distributing the rock properly. The blown timeouts, the shitty rotations, Joe Harris playing over Dion Waiters in the most crucial point of the game.

Im not arguing for the sake of arguing. I've been a fan of this team and organization from the days of blue seats at the Gund, but it kills me to see a coach merely a bit better than Mike Brown fucking it up for us thus far.

If we lose any of our next 5 games against WAS, ORL or IND - I'll be watching very closely, to determine who's at fault. Obviously the team collectively is responisble for every loss - but it's safe to say except for maybe ONE of our losses, the other loss falls on the lack of competent coaching.

Of course this is just my opinion, but I think I know why Blatt gives Harris so many minutes.
Right now the team isn't yet gelling and trusting the system or each other. And the players, especially the vets, and I can say Waiters as well, because of the way he plays, at the minute there is an issue, they go on "auto pilot" mode to their comfort way of playing, and they just "quit" Blatt's system.
Harris is a coach's player, it's in his blood, and I think Blatt trusts that he will continue to work in his system and listen to him, even in dire moments. Which I can't say it's true for everyone else, at this moment…
I think the main remedy for this situation is time - more playing together, and more trusting each other. And this is a lot better that all those issues come right from the beginning and not in the middle of the road, because now the Cavs still have time to resolve the issues and to gel.

No where in I 77's post do I read anything about him being happy. Heck he didn't use a smiley face. You joined these forums after the Cavs signed LeBron so your opinion only counts for half. I'v been a fan of the Cavs since the days of them sharing a building with a NHL team.

I like that Blatt plays Joe Harris. Playing Joe Harris now is how you get a player to become like Danny Green in 3 years. Reap the benefits later. We haven't seen anything like this for over a decade.
I don't care if Harris is living on the moon in 3 years. The Cavs need to start winning like a top 5 team is suppose to. Playing Harris over Waiters is just ridiculous.

I'm here since Blatt joined, not because of Lebron. I never hided it and never will…
I'm glad you are a long time Cavs fan and I hope we both enjoy a tremendous season, which will end with a cup, and not the coffee one…

It's 10 games in, I might be a bandwagoner but even I know it takes more than 1/4 of a season

I think the arbitrary player minutes & rotations that are going on will calm down once the season gets going, but it does look like Blatt is at best "experimenting" during games right now, but sometimes it looks more like guessing, and like what happened with Harris, it was like someone forgot to sub the poor kid out for a breather. Same goes for timeouts. Plenty of WTF? Not looking like solid coaching right now. It doesn't really matter as long as Blat gets things in order before January, but he's looking like a rookie coach right now.

He also left Lebron out for too long of a stretch to end the third and this is whyI described his rotations as mechanical. It feels like he doesn't yet have an "internal player clock" that all the other coaches do. When he's on the sideline, you can tell his completely focused on what's going on in the game to the detriment of what's going on around the game. I thought he was just starstruck at first, but it's pretty clear at this point he's just into the game.

I say he puts an assistant in charge of monitoring player minutes and make suggestions based on that, until he gets that internal timing right..

i am amazed at some of the crap i am reading on here. it is only 10 games into the season, relax. my favorite line i read was "the euro league is different". how many euro league games have u watched or are you just repeating what somebody else said?

Me too. I am one of the biggest Cavs fans out there, have been since I was a kid. I freak out sometimes too- but in this particular situation, anyone freaking out with these bold statements and calling for people's heads- have lost total credibility to me. Way, WAY too early for any of that.
