Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd be cool if the Cavs traded Love at this point. While he is an All Star on the offensive side, the defense is awful. Have to think that if you take him off the floor and put in a legit center moving TT to 4 with Andy coming off bench it would work. Sure we would lose a scoring option, but what good is a guy that puts up 24 a night if he gives up the same on the defensive side. This isn't baseball where you can DH a guy who only has a bat. I think Love's defense will cost us more games than his offense will win.

I don't know who the hell we'd trade him for, but if I saw they traded him I wouldn't be upset in the least bit. Feel like he is another Carmelo, destined to put up good numbers on a mediocre or bad team.
That'd be the lazy and short sighted way to band aid the problem.

Idc what anybody says or any stats....having a superstar on your team is better than not having one
Flat out

We have the luxury of 3.

You can't go to the buffet and get all meat, you have to sprinkle in some sides to have a balanced, nutritious meal.

How about we keep Love and get a legit center that can move and/or contest shots? Andy is just as much of a problem on defense as Love right now, I know people don't want to see it, but he is struggling out there. He is a step or even two steps slow getting to spots. I hope it comes out that he is being slowed by an injury that just needs some rest, because otherwise if this is the way he's headed, that new contract looks bad. Tristan needs to start until we find a legit center.

At least if the Cavs continue to regress, the quality of posting will exponentially increase on this board.

It's a rant thread... I think the quality of rants has risen exponentially.

Kevin Love is not the core problem. I would trade Kyrie before I would trade Love. You'd think we're sub 500 with some of the reactions. Oh well, it is a rant thread.

the roster just plain isn't good enough. people got all excited about the Love trade, but forgot we don't have a center and we have zero interior defense…and Love only makes that worse. Varejao just don't cut it. And the bench is mediocre as well. Still gotta makes some moves, 'cause we ain't beating the Warriors in the Finals with this roster.

Just... Wow.

Would you like to make a wager that the Warriors will beat the Spurs in the playoffs? I'd gladly take that action.

Same people saying trade Kevin Love will be the same exact people mad in the playoffs that we dont have a player capable of scoring back to thebasket

I guaruntee it

I think a better questions is - does everyone still feel comfortable the Cavs will come out of the East?

It's still early and I don't think any of the other teams can beat us in a 7 game series, but I'm not nearly as confident as I was before the season.

This is important. There are no perfect teams and every team, including the very best ones, have holes of some sort. The question is how well can you mask them.

I'm not interested in winning the east to lose int he Finals again. I've been there and seen that before. I'd like to see us win a ring. We have the best player in his prime for about another 2 years so the clock is ticking IMO

1000% confident it will come down to a Bulls-Cavs ECF. Both teams are spotty right now but are just too good to be counted out.

The Wizards don't scare anyone. The Hawks... Please. They took us to the woodshed, but that doesn't change the fact that they severely lack the star power to lift them on off nights.

The Raptors are due for a stumble soon and with zero playoff experience to speak of, will have their struggles.
