I think TT has shown in these last few games he's willing to do anything to fill the gap left by AV's injury. Great hustle! In my view, he's actually much better in a starting role than AV was. I believe what we really need at this point is a backup center that can come in for 15 minutes a game and play D--someone who is a proven veteran, has the right locker room attitude, and someone with playoff experience.
And just as importantly we need to do that without sacrificing the remaining assets we will need in the future. If he can still perform at the level in this video from last season, I think Jermaine O'Neal is the right choice for an immediate fix for the hole at center. With the DPE we can clearly afford him, and it's time for his decision to be made so hopefully we can bring him to Cleveland. Maybe LBJ can take some time during his rehab and make a few phone calls.
