Game 47 | Cavs (26-20) vs Portland (32-13) | January 28th, 2015 | 7pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just finished watching the game.

Phew...

Kyrie Irving. What more can you say?
Payback feels nice. ;) Good way to start my birthday.

Onto the next one! LET'S GO CAVS!!

(Time to cross another off the list...)

Revenge Week
The Hitlist
OKC Pissedons Blazers "Kings" @Minny

Just think they beat two elite and one semi elite west coast teams in this run and tonight with out LeBron. This is big because the knock on our team early was we struggled against west coast teams. Also what revenge do we have with Minny? As far as I know we played them and beat them once.

We have to revenge for fooling us in a trade and giving us that scrub Love! ;)

This was one hell of an entertaining game, I love to see historical nights and that is why I love basketball. I get a sense of pride seeing special performances even though I am relegated to sitting on my couch. With all that being said, just an amazing effort by Irving tonight. 55 points against the likes of Portland is super impressive and after he got off to that slow start is even more impressive.

But, at the same time, I didn’t like the offensive scheme at all. It was all 1 guy, this is the second game in a role (James as well) everyone just relied on the hothand and that is not good basketball by any stretch. Obviously you are bailed out by these guys being THAT good but for the entire squad not named Irving to go a combined 17 for 49 from the floor is embarrassing. I hope this is an exception and its not forming a pattern because as of late its been rather offensively spread out.

I hate saying that, I really wish I was just pure ecstatic at Irving’s night. I loved it, one of the most entertaining games of the season by far, but it’s 50-50 for me. Irving; good, offensive scheme; bad.

I can't agree with you. The offensive scheme looked well most of the time, the shots just weren't falling.
They kept making plays for Love again and again be it leaving him to work in the post or uncontested 3s and he missed everything.
There were plays for Moz and even many of KI's points were either after set plays or smart movement by our guys on offense.

So I would say the offensive schemes were okay, but guys weren't making shots.
And when you have Kyrie as hot as you had him today, you just go with it, especially when everybody else is cold.

Irving bailed them out for sure, but I will say I am disappointed in the fact that when Love is having a poor effort, he just doesn't put his head down into the paint and make shit happen. He used to do that in Minnesota. Whatever this mental obstacle is, he needs to overcome it.

I agree, but it might be because he's hurt. Anyway, if he's not hurt, he definitely is not working hard enough on O to grind those points. If he is hurt he needs to man up and say "coach I need to rest" and take two-three games off.
We'll see how he feels after the ASG break.

Totally agree. But that's why this team is going to be so good. They have so many weapons that they can pick each other up.

Big difference with JR, Shump and Moz on the team. But most of all the attitude/confidence shift with those guys makes this a new team.

The bonus is that Lebron gets a break for his WHOLE body. And if he sits Friday, make that a LARGE break.

And we saw what happened last time he had an extended break!:celb (15):

So instead of letting the guy that was making seemingly everything still shoot we should have let the other guys shooting like garabge shoot more?

Some games, it's just one guy shooting great, most games it's not.

Also they got the ball in to Timo and he made those 2 clutch free throws to take the lead at 94-92.

Anyone have the link to the blazers announcer's call of the game winner?

SAC could be a serious trap game.
They are all over the place atm, horribly coached. But if Boogie and Gay get it going it can be rough. Especially with DMC's great range.

just saw them play in Toronto, looked good until Cousins got in foul trouble. I agree it won't be an easy W if Lebron is out. If we have Lebron back I'm not worried at all.

@wuck @Walter White, I just landed and my jaw dropped when I saw that Kyrie dropped 55.

Am I carrying bad luck with me? I fly to LA and miss Kyrie's greatest ever performance. If LeBron doesn't play as well tomorrow, I may be permanently speechless.

Oh, and I just realized that my League Pass is totally blacked out now because I'm in the US so I can only catch YouTube highlights. LOL...

Will they show the replay on FXO tonight by any chance?
