Playoff Positioning

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think tonight on the road vs Indy is a trap game.
Emotional game last night, yes the technical fouls were called on the Clips, but it was still a very chippy game. Back to back game, maybe a little lethergy fro Clev... these are the games that the Cavs might subconciously notch down the intensity a little... Indy is up for the game vs Clev, gets hot... upset victory.

Ummmm... I'm no expert, but this seemed pretty likely to me. Indy shooting 48%, and Cavs giving up the most points since the 1st LAC game. Indy playing with more focus, Cavs defense was not sharp.

I think they will rebound and blast the Lakers and win out to the All star game... but Indy was ready for this game.

You have to be crazy to not be scared of Atlanta. I'm watching them destroy the Warriors right now. You know that record isn't an accident either.

Chicago is playing in New Orleans tonight.

New Orleans is playing very well right now, having won seven of nine, and Anthony Davis has been on a tear. He had 41 points and 10 rebounds last night, including the game winning three, and he averages about 30 ppg on the second night of a back to back. Additionally, New Orleans is 6-1 at home against Eastern Conference opponents.

Washington is hosting Brooklyn tonight, as well. Brooklyn will be going for its fourth straight win, as well as their second win of the season against the Wizards. Washington, meanwhile, has been slumping, have lost five straight games, and have shot 43 percent from the field in those five games.

Could be a good night for the Cavs to move right back up the standings, even with the loss last night.

If that lost last night costs us the 2nd seed, I am going to throw feces.

Why would it? They're 3.5 back with 30 games to play...

A couple of bold picks, no doubt, but not prescient: the Bulls and Wiz both won by more than 30...

I think we'll be 2nd seed and probably facing Heat at playoffs. Beside that I had a prediction on our Turkish Web site start of the season which Atlanta will be on the Eastern Finals which i still think they'll br our opponent. But don't expect them to go away too soon. They have a FUCKING Pick Swap with Brooklyn this season. So they may finish at top of the league and still select from lottary piece.

Exactly. We need to pray that horford or teague or korver gets hurt or something. They're shooting over 50% from three every other game.

I hope we don't face the Heat. I don't see Bron going for the jugular against them and that team has players who have gone to four straight finals. Don't see an upset but absolutely a hard fought series. Depends on Bron but I think he makes that series harder than it should be facing Wade

I agree. The Heat would be tough and you know they'd give it their absolute all that series. Plus their record isn't really an accuracy reflection of their play seeing that Bosh and Wade have both been injured, and Whiteside is beasting.

We really need to match up with the Hornets.

I hope we face and destroy them, and if lebron plays like a bitch then he should go back there then. After all this four years i want nothing less but to destroy them.

Anthony Davis also went down with an injury that game, and the Bulls responded with a 40-11 run to break open what was a close game to that point.

I want heat-cavs first round just because its the only way i could get more hyped up for a Cavs playoff game. I can't wait for that excitement level to be buzzing for a week straight

That was my understanding. I am not riding you for being wrong. In fact, I very much appreciated the boldness of your prediction. Alas, it didn't work out for the good guys. Quite the opposite. But I am a firm believer in the axiom, "If you are going to fail, you might as well do so spectacularly."

It would be a fitting way to be apart of the storybook that is LeBron's career. I can already see the post career documentary now, "LeBron's first playoff series was against the team he just went to 4 straight Finals with, as he delivers Cleveland their first championship later that same playoffs bringing everything full circle, cementing him as the greatest player of all time". :D

(and he later goes on to win 6 championships with Cleveland, giving him 8 overall yada yada yada..)
