We had 22 offensive rebounds and wound up taking 24 more shots than they did and still somehow lost. How many layups and tips did we miss?

Only positive is that this wasn't a structural loss and that the team came back rather than folding. As opposed to earlier this year, I felt that we would come back. Honestly, at this point, I expect to win every game.

But make no mistake: that should have been a win. There's no excuse for 3-11 and honestly, there's not a good excuse for still shooting 73% from the line when a bunch of power forwards shoot 79%-80% plus.
 
I couldn't figure out why they didn't call LeBron for a foul on Harden on that late possession. After the replay, it was pretty obvious. Harden hooked LeBron and flopped around. LeBron hooked him the 2nd time, and got away with it, but I think the refs punished Harden for trying to flop into a foul. Most hilarious no call I've ever seen (well hilarious in a non-outrageous way).
 
LbJ had 2 chances to win this game .. pisses me off but at this point staying healthy is the biggest concern.. Love in the post and Moz were completely forgotten by this team and coaching staff
 
I swear we're trying our hardest to avoid that #2 seed. :chuckle:

The refs during Rockets games are the ONLY people who apparently cannot see Harden throwing himself into the defender to draw the foul. I don't get it.
 
We missed Kyrie in this game more than the Rockets missed Howard. Without Kyrie we turn into the Le-Iso team of 8 years ago.

Tbh, Lebron just wouldn't pass at all today, not sure the coaches could do much tbh...
 
Make free throws, win the game. It's that simple.

Having LeBron take it out wasn't that bad. He was getting ridden on out of bounds plays the whole game and the likelihood he could have got any sort of decent look there is incredibly unlikely.

He's the best passer on the team and 6'9". In a situation where it's incredibly hard to get a shot off, you want the inbounder to be able to make a great pass and do so over pressure.

I like the thinking on a lob to Smith but what I thought we would draw up was screen action in the lane where Delly leaks out to the near corner. He seemed like the only guy on the floor who could get lost in the defensive wash and possibly get an open look.

Ah well.

Lol look at the guards stats. We couldn't make any threes. Lately J.R, Shump and Delly have only been good for defense. I expected them to step up in the half offensively. It never happened

He's been doing it forever.. It's his patented style of play, and the NBA has pretty much let it slide. He more or less just runs into defenders and flops to draw free throws.. It's painful to watch because it ain't basketball.

He's not even finishing and just getting and-1's, he's making his living at the free throw line. It's pathetic.

No worries.. These mofos will not make it out of the West and even if they did, with Kyrie Irving back, we would absolutely fucking embarrass these clowns.
