LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love how everyone else is throwing up signs with their hands and then there's Delly giving the whitest thumbs up ever haha :chuckle:

"And then there's Love putting up what looks to be a hitchhiking sign, clearly trying to hitch his way to LA."

- First Take, probably.

I find it so amusing, a good amusing, that nearly all (if not all) of the players re-posted that picture. I find that amazing really, shows what a close-knit team they're becoming.

Riley: LeBron Could Have Had Something Historic Over Next 5-6 Years With Heat

Pat Riley felt that the Miami Heat were in the position he wanted them to be in despite losing in the 2014 Finals to the San Antonio Spurs, but LeBron James decided to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

"That was almost shocking to me that the players would allow that to happen. And I'm not just saying LeBron. I mean, the players, themselves, would allow them to get to a state where a guy would want to go home or whatever it is.

"So maybe I'm dealing with a contemporary attitude today of, 'Well, I got four years here, and I think I'll go up there for whatever reason I went.' You know, the whole 'home' thing, I understand that. But what he had here, and what he had developed here, and what he could have developed over the next five or six years here, with the same team, could have been historic. And usually teams from inside…"

Riley continued by referencing the Lakers.

"It would be like Magic and Kareem and [James] Worthy, they weren't going to go anywhere," Riley said. "They had come at a time when there were free agents. They weren't going to go. You think Magic was going to leave Kareem? You think Kareem was going to leave Magic? You think Worthy was going to leave either one of those guys, or [Byron] Scott or [Michael] Cooper? No, they knew they had a chance to win every year. And this team had a chance every year. So that was shocking to me that it happened. Now, could we have done more? Could they have done more?"

"I don't understand this whole 'home' thing."

Who the fuck says that?

EDIT: I know he actually said he understands it....but it's kind of like Lebron saying he doesn't care about stats. You know he means the opposite.

Karma is a BITCH no, Pat? :)

I just wanted to say that I've seen a lot of people suggest (and not only on this board) that although we have a good chance of winning the title this year, Lebron was better in his first stint in Cleveland and that his peak started around 2008 and ended his last year in Miami.

I think that's utter bullshit. Is Lebron the athlete he was 5 years ago? Of course not. He's 30 years old with a ton of miles. He obviously can't run as fast and jump as high as he could in his "physical prime." But he's still more athletic than 99% of the league, and despite his slight physical decline, he's still the best player in the game because he's evolved his game like all the greats do.

If you asked me who I would take in the regular season between first stint Cavs Lebron and present Lebron, maybe I take the former because he was able to exert more energy in every regular season game 5-6 years ago compared to what might be referred to as the "chill mode" of present day Lebron. But you better believe I'm taking the Lebron we have now IN THE PLAYOFFS over the Lebron we had his first time around and it's not even close in my opinion.

Oh right, because LeBron wouldn't be carrying the load with a bunch of injured players and knuckle heads... Smart Pat. Anyone else thinks he looks exactly like what the devil would look like in human form (and if it existed)?
