Nets Cavs.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Timo got player of the game despite being the only Cav with a negative +/-

Poor Delly. Seems like every other game he gets a turnover by holding the ball and not being a dick when there's a couple seconds differential between the game clock and the shot clock.
I think it counts as a team turnover if I'm not mistaken.

Beautiful game.

This team continues to prove that with rest and practice it is a very very strong team.
And you get quite enough rest and practice in the playoffs. Let's do this!

I feel like JR is the one that really opened this one up. He kept getting fed and was hitting the threes, and then everyone had the confidence to get anyone the ball to score. Once JR started raining threes, the lane opened up and Kyrie and LBJ could dish for easy dunks and jumpers.

Perkins looked like someone that could actually contribute tonight. Can't believe he rose up to power that throw down in traffic. And he got up nice for a couple boards. And the outlet. He actually looked decent, albeit garbage time, but still.

A few people have said he is no better than Haywood, but even in garbage time Haywood hasn't done one positive on-court thing this entire season really. Perkins can still help a team, just not be a focal point.

Two dropped game threads in a row.

I have been sending weekly reminders all year....except last week. Thanks for starting this thread. We should be good from here on out.

I'll happily take a 13 turnover game every time.

Obviously wanted to see what Love could contribute and he looked to have some lift in his step tonight, didn't impress, statistically, but his body language is key right now.

Also gotta say having a center is a good thing, I loved Mosgov's dunk fest in the 3rd, awesome to see.

To me, the key was the ball movement. They had 32 assists on 45 made field goals with only 11 turnovers. They just kept the ball and made the right plays after the first.

Sometimes, if there is a day or two between games and if the last game was epic I will rewatch it, this game was in no means brilliant by any stretch but I kept thinking to myself after the 3rd, I am rewatching this on Thursday lol.

Anyone have a link to download? I missed it lastnight... :biggrinthumb:

I keep saying it cause I keep seeing it. We move the ball a lot more against teams of no significance to the Cavs. But if its an elite contender, or a team with an MVP candidate, or LeBron's former team, its stagnant.
Assists in games this year:
39 vs. ATL
34 vs. MEM
32 vs. MIA
32 vs. BKN
31 vs. LAL
28 vs. TOR
28 vs. WAS
27 vs. TOR
27 vs. TOR
26 vs. NO
26 vs. DAL

6 vs. UTA
13 vs GS
13 vs WAS
14 vs LAL
15 vs GS
16 vs MIN
16 vs MIA
17 vs MIA

It's more of a mixed bag if you look at the stats.

Dividing the 70 games in half to 35 and looking at games vs. teams currently in a play off spot, 18 of those top 35 assist games were against teams in a play off spot.
If you look at the bottom 35 games for assists, 19 of those were against teams currently in a play off spot.
Pretty close to dead even.

Let's go further.
Of the top 35 assist games vs. teams in a play off spot right now the Cavs won 13 of the 18 games.
Of the lowest 35 assist games vs, teams in a play off spot right now the Cavs won 7 of the 19 games.

Pretty significant edge to more assists is better against current play off teams.
