Call your shot. Official Playoff Run Predictions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cavs sweep the Celtics. A couple blowouts and a game or two where they pull away at the end.

Cavs beat Chicago in 5 (win first two home games, steal one in Chicago and finish it in Cleveland)

Cavs beat Hawks in 6. Can't see the Cavs winning a game 7 in Atlanta, so they have to be perfect and home and steal an early road game.

Cavs beat San Antonio in 6. LeBron makes a statement against Leonard and wins finals MVP averaging 29/7/8.

Also: Kyrie hits at least one game winner during the playoffs.

Cavs in 5 over Cs
Cavs in 7 over Bulls
Cavs in 7 over Hawks
Warriors in 6 over Cavs

Great playoff seasoning. Cavs win it all next year.

I think the Spurs are the only Western team that can take the Cavs in the finals. If they don't make it there, Cavs in 6.

Cavs in 5 over Celts.
Cavs in 5 over Bulls.
Cavs in 5 over Raptors.
Cavs in 5 over Spurs.

I'm going to get called out on this, I'm sure, but the Bulls freak me out. We haven't really seen the Cavs face a fully healthy Bulls team. That first win doesn't count since this is a completely different team. The win in January was without Noah and Rose. The loss in February, this team was already on break. And the last win, they were without Rose.

Now, the case could be made that there is no such thing as a fully healthy Bulls team. I understand that. However, that is a battle-tested team that has won multiple series in the postseason. They've been through the grind. The Cavs, on the other hand, will largely be going through all of this for the first time. LeBron has been there, sure, but neither Love or Kyrie have. I'd like to be confident that they won't be fazed, but the playoffs are a whole different animal than the regular season. You look at the other guys, and the picture isn't so pretty. The last time JR was in the playoffs, he nearly derailed his career he shot so poorly. Moz made it once three years ago, and played limited minutes. Tristan is new. Shump has one year in basically the same role. Delly is new. It's going to be nerve-wracking.

I think there is a very real chance the Bulls could win this series. That said, I'll take the Cavs to go to the ECF, but I have no idea what will happen at that point.

They actually finished above .500 against the rest of the west (sans Pelicans).

2-2 against the Rockets, Spurs, Grizzlies

3-1 against the Trailblazers

2-1 against the Mavericks

1-3 against the Warriors

I'm not sure that that narrative holds up for the Clips these days.

but what about the pelicans? Lol

The mavericks are bs, the blazers are bs.. again not a good team against good teams

Called out for taking a battle tested playoff team seriously? Insecure much? Who are the ppl "Calling you out" on that?

2-1 against the Pels. And 2 of their 3 wins against Portland came before everyone on that team got injured. When they were actually a contender.

Really think the Clippers are being underestimated. You don't win 56 games by accident, especially in the West, and Chris Paul is having the best season of his career. Of course, that means nothing, given that they very well could lose in the first round, but that says more about the state of the West than it does the Clippers. That conference is loaded.

Based on the number of people who appear to be waving the Bulls off, I figured there would be a few of them.

Also, the tone of your post confuses me.

The only thing that concerns me about Chicago is how Kyrie matches upto a healthy Derrick. Derrick is physical and has superhuman lateral speed--both weaknesses of Kyrie.
