I read online there could get be ligament damage when a shoulder is dislocated or gets popped out. Let's hope that did not happen.

There is almost always ligament damage / stretching that is the inherent problem. The joint becomes so loose it has a huge propensity to pop out again.

Officials didn't even bother to review the obvious dirty play, and he still plays! Blatt refuses to retaliate. I now expect Boston, without any consequence and now being rewarded for dirty plays, to have a play designed to end LeBron's season.

I hope the NBA likes the ratings that will follow with weaker teams being allowed to advance with dirty plays knocking out star players, without consequence.

I don't think they can review it for flagrant since they didn't call a foul.

You are right I'm not. And we don't know what the injury was. However, seeing it, seeing his reaction, and having the exact same thing happen to me leads me to believe I have a decent idea what is going on.

If he comes back and it was just a strain that would be phenomenal.

Being a professional athlete doesn't make them heal faster. Sure hes going to have top of the notch rehab while mine was probably standard but if you do any research on the injury at all it takes a ton of time to strengthen the stretched / torn ligaments to the point where you can even remotely trust the stability of the joint.

One anecdotal story when I came back I was solo jumping for a rebound the kind where you swing your arms up as you jump. My shoulder popped back out just on the motion of swinging my arms up. It immediately returns but it is painful and it really really makes it hard for you to trust anything on that side of your body.

Sure it does, they have constant medical attention/treatment/rehab that other people don't get.

Things like that should warrant an ejection for at least a few games. NBA should really discourage such "physical" play. This is basketball, a beautiful game of skill, not wrestling

It was a dirty play by Olnyk, he used both arms and locked Love's arm while twisting. It was more worthy of UFC fighting than the NBA.

Let's hope this all an overreaction. He was clearly hurt, but let's hope it isn't serious at all.

Our team is too nice. JR and Perk are the only guys that would do anything and all Perk did was go after Crowder. Olynk still has a pulse

This. We knew Love was playing with a bad back all year... that can clearly affect your shoulder posture/range of motion. Tough yank by Olynk but let's not like that doesn't happen 20x a game jockeying against a Noah.

Well, this severely hurts our playoff chances. Very disappointed. I'm not gonna be able to take the rest of the game so thanks for uploading them Ben, I'll get it to t'row after the shock has worn off.

And...awesome- we now have a 2-man big rotation, thanks to Blatt refusing to use Marion in favor of James effing Jones. Meanwhile, a superior on-ball defender rots on the bench.
