His foul may be changed to flagrant 2 and he may be suspended one/more game. Which sucks because Perk had been ejected yesterday, JR's flagrant might never have happened.

It was just a hard pick. You know - competitive, physical basketball.

Windy (kinda) bomb?

Fact he's seeking a 2nd opinion makes me think he was told he can play and wants to make sure it's not damaging to his future.
I don't want to jump to any conclusions..two ways to go.
Either they told him he could play but risk further injury if not rested or operated on.
Or they told him not to play , and he needs surgery if he wants it to heal right or lengthy time if no surgery..

My first thought too.. It would be kind of disturbing that he's more concerned about free agency than the ongoing playoffs though. I guess that's the business of the NBA.
Hard to say if that's even Kevin's words. Likely just Windy speculating that his impending free agency has an effect on wanting a second opinion.

You can read that news either way. The first half reads like bad news, as you usually get second opinions after receive disappointing initial news. However, Windhorst puts the need for a second opinion in the context of free agency, which would indicate that perhaps he was told he can play, but he wants a second opinion to make sure that he does not put his long-term health and career earning potential at risk by returning too soon. Once again, we have information, but not anything that would lead me to conclude one way or another.

How is that concerning? He could be missing out on 80million + if he permanently screws up his shoulder. Any smart person would make the same cost/benefit analysis.
