He's managed not to hurt anyone doing it and I guess he does it every rebound because he sucks at rebounding

Kelly did it once and hurt Love. Pretty clear what that is. Kelly is pure ass and Love got under his skin

That wasn't my point -- I wasn't saying Love was dirty or anything. I was saying that if he holds opponents down or back using anything like an arm bar it is going to be damn hard to do that with an injured shoulder.

This is me right now as I wait for news:

I hope this isn't me later on tonight:

If he's just now traveling to wherever he will get his second opinion, I think we might have to wait til tomorrow to find out more information. Maybe we should change gears and channel all of our nervous energy into becoming the best Bucks fans of all time for tonight's game.

I doubt he needs surgery. I am by no means an expert, but it was popped back into place soon after on the spot and he didn't look to be favoring it in the sling in his post game presser. I know it's easy to think pessimistically than optimistically in sports but I am withholding any speculation of that magnitude until we learn more.

I, by no means, trust 100% what reports on twitter say. They get shit wrong all the time.

Anyone remember Andy's knee injury? We don't want a repeat of that. He needs to get a second opinion no matter what. Honestly though I don't see the harm in sharing the first opinion.

^Before this gets out of hand, please stop harassing the female members of the board into posting nude pictures. Plenty of tits in EAYOR and elsewhere on the internet. Leave it out of Cavs talk. Thanks.

What the hell is EAYOR? I like tits. I spent the first few years of my life latched on to a pair.

Its always popped back in and you can't really discern anything on the stability of the joint / surrounding soft tissue and ligament tears just by how its sitting in a sling.

Could be right, but saying that it was popped back in and that he didn't seem to be favoring it while its in a sling isn't really a reason for not thinking he will need surgery =p

That said, the majority of these do not need surgery that doesn't mean the time out is necessarily short though.

Yeah, but anyone would have to be pretty naive if they really believe he'll be playing in game 1, or 2 against the Bulls. Or hell, likely playing at all in that series. I just don't see it personally, I mean if it happens I'll be ecstatic, but I wouldn't count on it.

Look, being optimistic is one thing, but being unrealistic is another. This guy is going to miss some time. Dislocated shoulder, even if it's the best outcome possible, coming back from it literally two weeks is being super optimistic, I think.

Fans should be hoping he comes back period. That in itself is a win, and a lucky break.

And people, if it's torn, there's no fucking speculation at all. He's getting surgery!!!!

Coming from someone that had his torn, there's no fucking way he's coming back, at all, if that's the case. There's no second opinion about that.

the surgery is needed to correctly attach tendons, ligaments etc. The shoulder socket has more of this shit than any other part of the body.

The bone will pop back in the socket, but imagine a bunch of noodles connected to a meatball that sits in a bowl..

turn the bowl upside down. now put just the meatball back in the bowl.

Between this and JR, we better get SOME fucking news today.

I can assure you nobody was asking for that or is into that sort of thing here.

I had about six shoulder dislocations when playing HS and CYO ball. I used to just pop it in and keep playing but it hurt like a biotch the next few days and I had to put it in a sling. IMHO being that he's a free agent, I doubt he'll play again this year. Once it's been out it (shoulder) has a propensity to keep popping out unless it's surgically repaired. He could play in the playoffs and then have surgery after the post season but it'd be risky.
