ECF: Cavs 4 - Hawks 0

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have LeBron game 1 putting up 22 15 19 4 & 4 with KI getting his as the recipient of LBJ's 19 assists, for 35 6 & 7.
I have Moz with 5 dunks on alley oops, TT will be good for only 15 rebounds because the pace will be slower, but I have him going 6-7 from the line, with 1 and-one. I have Shump Day playing on Hump Day, so clearly he comes out strong and since Milsap will be on him when we go small, I have him going for 22 points on 7 of 9 FGs. I have JR getting hot in the 2nd half, draining 4 3's, since they will chase him out of there, he has his tear drop on automatic, so I have him finishing with about 18 points.

I have Korver literally taking off his jersey during the game because Delly will be inside of it and the whole thing will be creepy but awesome. He will finish with about 8 points on 3 of 15 shooting. I have Teague with 6 assists and 6 TO's, Milsap will have about 7 on horrendous shooting with LBJ draped all up on him. I have The Junk Yard Dog having a nice game because his nickname is dope, so maybe 15 points or so. I have Antique coming off the bench and playing like dirt. Bazeless already torched us this year so he used that up and isn't due to play well.

Something like 115-85 not out of the question here.

Houston is doing to Golden State what I feel we have to do to ATL to win. They are sticking to shooters not helping off of Splash bros and they are SLOWING the game down. The way this game has started Golden State would have to shoot 50+ % from 3 to even be close.

I'm kinda worried about Kyrie...

The Hawks run a lot of staggered screens to try and spring Teague to the rim, they especially leaned on it against Washington when Wall was out and Ramon Sessions was playing. If it doesn't work left-to-right they'll reset and run it back right-to-left, and if that doesn't work Millsap pivots and screens Korver's man in the corner.

There's just no where to hide Kyrie anywhere there, even a fully healthy Kyrie struggles navigating through multiple screens.

It's all very true. I imagine Shump is going to be spending a lot of time on Teague or the Cavs will be doing some crazy switching.

Blatt will get a chance to show how well he can coach. I hope the plan looks a lot better than the scheme that the Cavs used to open game 1 in the last series.

The narrative seems to be all about how the Cavs can possibly stop Atlanta's offense. Will be interesting to see if Atlanta underestimates our offensive capabilities. Honestly I think the Cavs just wanted that series more than the Bulls. I think a few of our players simply would not be denied. Tristan's intensity in that series was amazing. If we bring that same attitude, I think the close games will more often than not go to the Cavs.

I do not fear Atlanta. They've never seen a Conference Finals. Ever.

You've got like maybe 2 players that have, and one of them is gone.

They are going to shit the bed out of fear.

Count on it.

I want Lebron to bring to this series (and hopefully the finals) some vengeance for how Spurs ended things for him last year. He needs to get that out on Hawks/GSW

The Cavs will have to choke that off perhaps switchng a lot.
The Hawks will also try to free up Kover off the 3pt line doing the same thing.
I expect the Cavs to switch a lot to cover this attack.
