LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wanted to cross-post this. I was trying to ask LeBron a question just about as inartiucaltely as possible in retrospect. Sort of deer in headlights like you're shouting at the president while the helicopter is taking off...

There are so many things going through your mind. For me I want to create context so I can narrow their answer - sort of herd them into saying something useful, but About Three Clauses In...

I had one of those yesterday with LeBron. I was wandering a meadow hoping I would reach the end of the question. I wanted to ask - if he had looked at the tape of the 4th and the Iso and whether he had taken anything from it. and he sasid like the amazing fucking superhor he is enrout to a huge vicotry = you got to play the first quarter first. How about thet. He said, it won't even matter. I should probably cross post this in the Lebron thing -- because in the way I see it now, he was pointing in the stands. If that really happened, there had to be a few people like "why is he holding his bat like that? What ths fuck is he doing? Well Holy Shit."

That was my emotional response to LeBron leading that team into that Little Bighorn caliber massacre.

GOAT

With LeBron in, he scored or asst on 60 points. In that time, ATL scored 63. Who thought it wasn't a close game?

Since you asked...

Was LeBron James the best player in the NBA this season? Yes or no.

When he wanted to be, yes. The problem is that he didn't want to be every night. That's why he didn't win the MVP trophy, and I don't think he deserved to win it either. Curry, Harden, and arguably even Westbrook had better seasons, and Curry and Harden both played on teams with more wins, which is certainly a factor.

I'm fine with LeBron taking some games off and not playing as hard as he can every night during the regular season. That's a great way to conserve energy and stay healthy. But if he's going to do that, we can't be pissed when he doesn't win the MVP over guys who do play their hardest basically every night.

I thought we had no chance without love and kyrie ,boy was I wrong. ..

If lebron leads this group to an improbable championship essentially missing two max players while simultaneously ending the cleveland drought his legacy as one of the two best players to play the game is sealed in my book.

Looking forward we have to be massive favorites next year as well.

And if that does happen we should look back at the Decision as ultimately one of the best things that ever happened to Cleveland Sports. Because the LeBron we have now- tough, battle-tested, mature, a man who knows what it takes to win it all- exists in large part because of what he experienced in Miami. I'm not sure this LeBron would exist had he stayed in Cleveland.

Western Conf players have inflated raw numbers because they play a free flowing (less slow grind w/ hard nose defense) uptempo pace which equals more points, ast and rebounds.

No doubt the extra possessions help, but when put on equal grounds of per 100 possessions they're still putting up pretty crazy numbers. I'm not trying to compare them to LeBron (LBJ's impact goes way beyond the stats anyways). I just think it's crazy how the 2 main MVP finalists this year were average players just a few years ago.

This is why we need Kevin Love back though. It allows for us to rest LeBron those 15 games or so.

We can build up Kevin's confidence and then get playoff LeBron.

Think of it this way. LeBron use to play with so much effort during the regular season in 09/10. It was fun to watch and cool to have the best record. But ultimately it was for not.

We also have to credit Blatt for doing the exact opposite of Spo. Spo had LeBron in that headless chicken defense that led to LeBron getting a lot of easy baskets.....but being drained. Blatt's defensive style is more conducive to guys not tiring out as much.

But yea we're going chill mode regular season LeBron we really need Kevin Love.

I saw fear the sword RT a couple of old Kent Bazemore tweets. Apparently he is/was no fan of LeBron and constantly trashed him on Twitter in the past. Also has a huge crush on Kobe it seems.

We never would be here where we are now had he stayed. I think that's commonly accepted. It hurt at the time but we can reap the returns now for the next 4-5 years.

LeBon mic'd up. The level of communication on defense is miles and miles ahead of what it was earlier. His teammates have utter trust in him as he shifts them around like chess pieces. Great stuff.

come on man! THATS TOO EASY!!

I love when Lebron acts like this

Fantastic, just fantastic. He wants it this year and I wouldn't bet against him.

Playoff averages:

Lebron- 27, 10, & 8 (2 losses)
Harden- 27, 8, & 5.5 (5 losses)
Curry- 29, 5, & 6 (2 losses)

Who is the real MVP?

There is one statistic that swings this in Bron's favor...

He leads the league in Standing One-Handed Defensive Rebounds While Already Looking Upcourt
