Shawn Marion is no trick up the sleeve.

Marion is more like a wadded up piece of gum in your pocket.

Alot will depend on how much we can get from Kyrie in this series. If Kyrie is Kyrie, then Lebron won't have to cover SO much of the offensive load.

They need Kyrie against GS to be on the court and effective as well as LBJ playing like he did game two against Atlanta. GS doesn't miss the shots that Atlanta has, and their Defense is very good overall.
The CAVs will need all hands on deck for that series.
Hopefully they finish off The sparrows Tuesday without KI and they all get that extra 8 days of rest.

I'd rather stick Shump on Curry and just face guard him the whole time. Force the ball out of Curry's hands and make them try to run the offense through Klay. Could Thompson just shoot over Irving or Delly? Sure. I'll take my chances of Thompson carrying them to a win vs letting Curry get his. The Cavs could even put James on Thompson and stick a smaller guy on Green.

That's been the biggest thing in the Hawks series as others have mentioned. The Cavs D has completely taken the Hawks out of their style of play. Even before Korver got hurt, the most fluid, team oriented offense in the league turned into iso ball. Not sure they can do the same to GSW, but Shumperts length should be able to cause some problems.

and when you swallow that gum. youll say Torn was right and your world will be destroyed

Yeah MaccabiCavs you would've been better off saying the same thing but replace "coaching" with "adversity." It's less fanboy, and seems to be the point you're making anyway.

We'll see. I don't think Kerr is as great as people make him to be regardless of Blatt
I actually feel the opposite about Kerr. In fact, I think this will become a coaching rivalry similar to Pop and Phil. I think Kerr and Blatt will be rival coaches for their entire careers and I look forward to every second of it.

I'm not saying Kerr is a bad coach. You need to be a good coach to have a team with 60+ wins. But were seeing how Bud has absolutly no answers, I think Cavs-Warriors series will be much more tight but I think Cavs has the advantage on the coaching position, bot a huge one and Cavs are not playing better basketball than GSW, but Blatt has shown his abillitt to adjust and how he can shut down teams with half of his starters out so... Blatt has proven more this postseason than Kerr

Not to re-write what's probably written 10 times today, but what blatts been able to do is incredible. He doesn't coach Lebron; he doesn't have to. Blatt has shifted the mentality of this team, and taught players how to play in their role.

Do you think it's a coincidence that delly is playing so much, while miller so little? Even after a bad game 2 (offensively), blatt knows his guys, and trusts the law of averages.

He knows what he is doing.

I'm a fan of Steve Kerr. Yes, his job was much easier than Blatt's as he walked into a deep roster that had experience and didn't need to make changes midseason, but this was a guy who wanted Blatt to run his offense. That right there is respect. Remember if we didn't hire Blatt as quickly as we ultimately did he probably would have been on the GS sideline this year.

So I respect Kerr and think Blatt will not be disrespected by GS. I also think Blatt is proving his value as a guy that can adapt his roster to changing circumstances which is IMO even more valuable than just being known as a guy with a great offensive system.

he already had a contract.

had Phil Jax not let Steve Kerr out of his contract, maybe Blatt's coaching in Golden State? Of course since he did, Kerr/GSW felt obligated to let Blatt out of his contract when Cavs came calling esp. as it wasn't even a lateral move, like Kerr's was...

As much as I admire Blatt, Kerr seems to be a helluva coach,
By declaring statements on who of them is the better coach, before even watching them coach at least one series against each other, is premature in the best case, and might even turn out to be quite foolish.

Kerr is a Wildcat, so I will always love him (and Iggy), but my allegiance in the NBA is to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
