One thing's for sure. Lebron needs to put in extra work in his long rage shot.

We will need every weapon from all the guys on the team.

Curry hits 31% on tightly contested shots and 43% on open ones these playoffs. So guarding him really well helps. He is not JR Smith or even Kyrie who often shoot better contested shots.

Steph Curry is great, but I think everyone is going overboard over his performances too.

Kyrie if healthy would be dropping the same numbers Steph is in that Rockets series. Jason Terry is no match at all for him. Just loses him too easily. Really curious if the Rockets make any changes on him. If not, this series is over tonight.

Like mention, Curry is going to score, we have to accept that. Kyrie can't literally just leave him open like Houston has, he just has to keep him honest. I am not as worried about Kyrie guarding him.

We just need Kyrie to be Kyrie offensively. If Kyrie is being himself offensively, then Curry's offense can be nullified since Kyrie is capable of matching him point for point. That's all we really want.

If Curry is going for 40, and Kyrie can only give us 15, then yeah, we are in big trouble.

I don't think Curry is going to be defended just by Irving. I could see stretches where Delly, Shumpert and LeBron all take turns. Yeah we're going to be switching on every pick, plus keeping a blanket on Thompson, but still, I think our collective defensive unit will be pretty close to what Memphis did to GSW-- had them on the ropes without any semblance of offense.

Houston is sending Terry to defend him and GSW is using Draymond Green as the screener. That would put either LeBron or TT on Curry-- a much tougher matchup than Josh Smith or Terrance Jones. I literally can't believe how much of a sieve Houston's defense is and GSW's hasn't been much better. I think a long layoff will help the Cavs get healthy and maybe cool GSW's momentum a little bit. Tough matchup, for sure, but I don't think it'll be the cakewalk for GSW that most analysts seem to expect.

Regarding guarding Steph Curry.... All I know is that this stupid switching on pick and roll that we've been doing that leaves TT on an island guarding the opposing PG is NOT gonna work against Steph. Makes me vomit a little just thinking about it.

I'd start Irving on him but give him multiple looks and put Delly and Shump on him if Irving gets abused defensively like he has been since he got hurt

Curry is guarding Prigioni... He is being guarded by Prigioni... I think we should put LeBron on Thompson, Kyrie on Barnes and Shumpert or Smith on Curry.

I can't tell exactly what Houston is bringing to the table. They seemed like a totally broken team when playing against the Clippers and going down 3-1. Then out of nowhere LA simply imploded. However, I can't tell if that is a commentary on the Rockets being that good or the Clippers being that weak mentally.

Anyways, the point I really want to make is Golden State is simply beating the crap out of a Houston team that has very very poor chemistry. There one saving grace is having a top 5 NBA superstar, a very good big man, and a quality 3 and D guy in Ariza. However, they play with so little chemistry on the court that Golden State has exposed all of their flaws. I see little hope for Houston tonight and fully expect this thing to be wrapped up.

As for the Cavs, we have to have a 90 percent Kyrie to beat Golden State. Our biggest saving grace is the one weak layoff before the Finals. We need it so badly. Kyrie is the key to this thing for the Cavs against the Warriors. We won't score nearly enough to beat the Warriors no matter how well we defend with Lebron flying solo.

San Antonio beat them by doing whatever they could to prevent Curry from shooting 3's. I think the fact that the cavs are so good guarding the 3 bodes well.

Bulls had a better net rating than Memphis and Hawks had a better net rating than Houston during the regular season

This team (warriors) just gave up a 45 point quarter. I think we have a chance..

Per concussion protocol would Curry be out for this game and next? That was one nasty fall, holy shit!
