Santana Sucks.
Carlos Santana is starting to wear on me.
Yep. Sure is. .200 BA. 7 HR's. A few RBI's. Great stuff for a top of the lineup bat. Not to mention his great defense.Santana is fine, jesus christ.

No. Didn't have time to write a book about Santana. I don't need stats. My eyes are pretty damn good.Is it still the 1990s when batting average and HRs are the only stats used to prove a players value?

Hey; I hope he does turn it around. I just don't see the point actually. He's never really had a defensive position. I guess he could be strictly a DH one day but he says he could never do it. I've always thought of him as a football linebacker of sorts. He just seems out of place on a baseball diamond. That's cool. I remember last year people saying the same stuff about him when he was hitting around .180 this point in the season. Still went on to hit .230, hit almost 30 HRs, drove in 80+ runs, was a 3.7 oWAR player, and approached his career OPS, which is over .800 mind you. Baseball is not a game to judge people game to game, week to week, or even month to month, especially when talking about a vet with a proven track record.
Reminds me when people were saying Kipnis and Moss were busts 2 weeks into the season and should be traded...
