Yeah, its a coordinated effort at this point..

Gabrielle, Dwyane himself during the Finals, the kid, then the wife again, now the Dad.. All with mentions of Cleveland.


It's funny.. Here's Bomani and LeBatard talking about James coming back to Miami after the Christmas game, because James said they would "reunite again." Guess it never crossed their minds Wade would come to Cleveland.

I mean last year we saw lebron and his family do some hinting, but this just seems even more blatant than anything that happened last year.

Also coming from an area where its always been "why the hell would he ever go to cleveland?" This is refreshing, entertaining and kind of hilarious haha.

I doubt Dwane would sign for $3.3 mil (tax payer MLE), but its fun to speculate and finally be that team.

With the right structuring. We could give him a 1+1 player option, and when it take a jump, we can operate under the cap and give him a bump.

How nice would it be if everyone took a fucking paycut...?

I doubt Riley gives in to that. No matter what he gets out of it.

They lose their franchise player, respect from their fans, and respect from fellow NBA players if he leaves. It shows 0 loyalty even if you gave into his wishes. They will face a worse free agent reputation than the Bulls had post Jordan.
 
Either 1) Wade becomes a Cav, 2) Wade leaves Miami for somewhere else, or 3) he gets his near max contract and stays in Miami after scaring the shit out of the 6 or so Miami fans & the Heat will never sniff another title anyway (especially if they are unable to re-sign Whiteside next off-season due to lack of bird rights & the cap space already taken up by bloated contracts for Bosh/Dragic/Wade).

Win, win, win. But I'll still root for scenario #1.
