2015 NBA Offseason Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If Sixers end up with Okafor and Embiid is on the block, we should go for him. Not sure what the asking price would be but we could afford to have him on the bench since we are deep.

Sorry, can't let the Embiid dream die :chuckle:

Haywood + Joe Harris for Embiid. Do it Griffin!! :chuckle:

I love how the Warriors and media are painting this them "helping" Lee be able to play more, rather than the reality that they just don't want to pay a bench guy a crap load of money when Klay and Draymond's deals are about to kick in.

I would think Philly is the only team that would take on his $15 mil deal next year, and I just wonder how many picks it will cost Golden State. They're very similar to us in that they have traded away a ton of second rounders as well as one of their firsts (2017). So basically they can trade this year's and 2019, and I doubt Philly values the 30th pick this year very much.

It will be interesting to see who they get to replace that role, but we have our first chip away at that lauded depth.

This is why you dont pass up trading potential for current NBA top players, imagine the outrage if we kept Wiggins and he was as injured as Embiid, but potential right?

lol to this post. Embiid was a injury risk before his pro-career. Kevin Love is a injury risk. You don't pass on huge ceilings, just not from the skills, but physically as well. Wiggins had the best NBA athletic body to come out since Lebron. You don't trade that.

If we hadn't traded for Love though, we wouldn't have won the chip this year....

lulz. Miami is planning to offer Dragic less than his 4 year max would be worth, essentially taking their one chip off that table that could keep away him from opposing teams.

In fairness, 5 years/$80 mil is probably closer to what he's worth, but why would you trade multiple picks for a guy if you are going to do something like this?

Omg Miami ha! Hopefully he signs in LA for 4 years, $85 million because they won't get Kevin Love.
