Too good right now
Sports entertainment at its finest. The sooner we strike the oxymoron 'sports journalism's from our lexicon the better we will be. Sports journalism is to journalism what wrasslin' is to Olympic wrestling.

These gen pop forums have gone to shit... I feel like this is cavs.com back in the early 2000s all over again. So many people who don't understand how the NBA, CBA and even the game of basketball works.
In all honestly, not sure the Studio is that much better at times. It would be better if some people read up on the CBA and NBA rules before posting crazy scenarios.

Back on topic. Would like to spur a serious discussion about filling out our roster. We came into the off season with 3-4 (depends on James Jones) roster spots to fill. Maybe 5 if you think Joe Harris is expendable through the right trade.
The value is really starting to dwindle in free agency.

Lets assume that Jr and Del are back. Christmas will be given a shot to make the team, but by no means is he a given on the 15 man roster.

How would you rate the following players in terms of your wish list.
Tayshon Prince
Caron Bulter
Dorell Wright
James Jones
Josh Smith
Drew Gooden
Boozer
Amare
Jordan Hill
Glen Davis
Omeka Okafor
Marcus Thornton
John Jenkins
Luke Babbitt
Matt Bonner
Glenn Robinson Jr.

But how do you amend a moratorium that is needed so accountants can figure out the financials???? They need all 10 days to figure that stuff out I thought.
I wouldn't be shocked if Cuban tries to pull for a change

That's cold, someone on twitter told Ramona Shelburne to lose weight.

She had a pretty classy response back.

She's not hot, so what, but people are assholes though.

She does a good job. One of the few people at ESPN that you can tolerate at least.

For us, I want Dorrell. So much for targeting younger guys.

Right, because a non-Cleveland team got screwed. I don't recall any cries for rule changes when Boozer screwed the Cavs. Where was the outcry for changing the procedure by which a player can lie to a team to get out of a contract and then sign elsewhere despite said promise? What Boozer did was much worse than what DJ did.

Reminds me of the outcry when we traded and re-signed Z. Despite this practice that had been going on for years, when Cleveland did it, there was sudden outcry to close that "loophole". Haven't heard boo about that loophole since.

I never thought anyone could get Gerald Green for a minimum. That's crazy. I guess he wanted more playing time in Miami over coming here. He probably wants to boosts his value and get a pay day. But still, surprised no teams would give him the MLE for a year.

Luis Scola signed with Raptors for 3 mil-1 year deal. He was the other guy I wanted but even he got over the minimum.

Was being sarcastic, I agree- he pushes for a change. Just funny to see how the moratorium the league wanted- in a bid to prevent crazy 'overbidding' from teams trying to get signatures as quickly as possible- has finally blown up on them. Both with how Rose has worked the period like a basketball Scott Boras and with this waffle that occurred precisely because of said period is poetic.

That's cause they did close that loophole.
