Fastlane Tonight - in Cleveland!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
more about the Owens Jericho matchups.. apparently Jericho was cenas replacement when he was hurt for booked house shows and the WWE has a general rule that when a face is injured and is replaced by another face that face wins all the matches

http://411mania.com/wrestling/backs...o-vs-kevin-owens-match-up-at-wwe-live-events/

so the Two should be pretty familiar with each other which bodes well for the PPV match

Ugh...that means Jericho is probably winning the MSG event. Remember, it's not a PPV. It's just a televised house show.

It is a title match now, believe they changed it yesterday

Well, that's a good sign then. No way he's dropping that title to Jericho.

Also, on a totally unrelated note, I can't wait until they give the NXT title to Eva Marie and the crowd absolutely revolts. It's going to be hilarious. I can't believe they're still trying to push her despite the fact that she's absolutely terrible in the ring (and that's after months of private training, something none of the other girls got) and the crowd chants "you can't wrestle" during all her matches. Sometimes you need to cut bait, and she's a perfect example of that.

If anyone is going out tonight downtown. Summer Rae tweeted that she'll be at FWD in the flats after the show.

Eva is a heel and the appearence of manipulating the refs appear to be part of her shtick. I dont see her getting a title any time soon with Bayley going against sahsa in an iron woman match along with the emergence of nia jax.

In the Meantime Eva will certainly be built up as a heel
speaking of next. I was watching the samoa joe and finn balor promo for their tag team match. I think Samoa could be a great heel/face guy it will be interesting to see him feud with Balor (who i dont like)

stone cold steve austin in wrestlemania vs lesnar in a texas death match

arent all ppv events glorified house shows?

great interview with sting.
http://www.wwe.com/inside/sting-interviewed-about-night-of-champions-injuries-27958909
STING: The biggest pleasure. I’m honored. After 30 years and working with some of the best and some of the greatest, [Rollins] is, I’m telling you, he’s got to be the best I’ve ever worked with. I mean, this guy has it. And I think he’s just scratching the surface on what he will do. I’ve never seen somebody as talented. He’s working two [matches] on Raw, two [matches] on the pay-per-view, he’s involved in every other segment and it’s physical. He’s got guys coming from every angle. There’s a lot on his plate. He’s carrying a lot, and he’s handling it. He’s proven he can do it. I’m just glad I had a chance to work with him. He’s the kind of guy who could be in there with a broomstick and make something very interesting happen, a match that people would love somehow.

WWE.COM: That’s incredibly high praise coming from Sting.

STING: Really, I can’t say enough. He poked his head in the ambulance and said, “Man, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened.” I said, “Seth, don’t worry about it. It’s not your fault.” And he, for 15 minutes, he said, “I just wanted to tell you what an honor it was, what a pleasure. I can’t believe I had a chance to get in the ring with you and work with you. I was you for Halloween when I was a kid.” He was on and on about it, but man, this young guy, he doesn’t have any idea how much I appreciate being able to work with him.
End quote

so maybe Rollins will fight a broomstick for Wrestlemania and according to Sting we will all be entertained.
btw it looks like Owens and Jericho recently had a cage match

Thanks for sharing that Sting interview. Love seeing legends have such respect and praise for the young guys.

And no, I don't consider any PPV's to be glorified house shows, because things happen at PPV's that you never see at house shows like title changes, heel/face turns, storyline developments/twists, etc. I refered to the MSG event as a glorified house show because it IS an actual house show. It's just glorified due to the venue, strong looking card, and fact it's being aired on WWE Network. Something they don't do for house shows in say.. Toledo, Ohio.

Also, as hype as I was at the possibility of a Texas death match between Austin-Lesnar at WM after that podcast.. it's already been shot down. Austin isn't healthy enough for in ring action, let alone against Lesnar. One can dream though...

I got house show mixed up with Raw and smackdown.. didnt realize there was a difference until recently. I think Though PPV is just a glorified episode. Maybe not so much now that Nitro is gone but they will do title changes on occasion to set up a PPV. Plus it seems like theres alot more ppv's than there used to beIf you have the WWE Network Id suggest watching the JBL legends interview with Eric Bischoff.

Awesome stuff in there. He even talks about the Hogan departure and other things like why he let Catus Jack go and Stone cold steve austin.
even if you think he is full of shit its great to hear his perspective.
apparently WWE is making a documentary on him for a release next season.

Texas Death Match was an interesting pick. it allows him to use tools and also possibly the piledriver.
In other words if Stone cold was gonna go out to LesnarStone cold would put on a very good show and it would be brutal for both wrestlers.

Haha just read Paige's quote from Raw tonight to the Bellas after they said with friends like her, who needs enemies.

"Yeah and with boyfriends like yours, who needs ambition." This is probably a slight paraphrase, as the version I read needed the grammar cleaned up a bit so I just took the liberty to do so.

That's a pretty sick (and totally accurate) burn.

Checking out this MSG Live Event and this chick Brie was in the ring and just zoomed in on having a conversation basically about what move next with Paige, jeez it was so obvious. Horrible, usually when I watch wrestling it's hard to notice, but these Bellas are so awful and it makes the divas division worse, which is great minus them, but them two are hard to watch. I hope Brie gets lit up by Vince.

you have Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens duking it out with no promo time for either. Im disliking Kevin Dunn More and More every day . im surprised they let Jericho take the mic before the Match
++ great match btw Lots of power moves. This match should of had some build up
