Game 4 | Cavs (2-1) @ Philadelphia (0-2) | November 2nd, 2015 | 7:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Still, that second unit should not have given up a lead like that. There was only one guy in that unit that doesn't get regular minutes.

Defense has been fantastic to start the season though. Pretty much picking up right where we left off on that end in the playoffs.

This type of game always makes me nervous because the scrub teams come out like their games with us are championship matches and that intensity

1. Isn't worth it for us to expend on a team like the sixers that we have ZERO chance of playing in the playoffs
2. Increases injury risk (might be why Blatt pulled Andy)

With teams like this, just put em away and move on without playing our studs too many minutes.

I was watching the game on the Sixers' broadcast, and damn, it felt more like LeBron James Network to me. They were slurping him all they could. The commentators actually kept track how many points he needed to get 25k every time he made a basket.

With the amazing career of LBJ on display in Philly, its remarkable the biggest +/- wasn't with him but Love with +24.

Of course, a game against the Sixers is SUPPOSED to be a win, but it was nerve racking for a little bit. Nothing more from me to take away from this matchup than LBJ is amazing and this team is rounding into mid season form already with guys out.

I do hope the Smith thing is just a bruise and he doesn't miss any significant time.

Down fifteen in the second I told someone I bet we win by ten still.

"Why don't you bet then?"

"No one would take that bet"

Almost ten

Andy looked completely lost today. Luckily JJ wasn't

Philly are so bad they cant win and they dont even get a teams best effort. i feel sorry for them

Fun game to be at! His ovation was cool for 25k. But the dunk and alley oop were awesome. May be my favorite LBJ dunks. The ones I saw in London were always insane but those two were fierce. Love was so fucking good after the first quarter.

Couldn't have been less worried after the first. They were visibly disinterested early on and you knew they'd turn it around. The shots of the bench at the end were hilarious too. Andy may have been asleep. Haha.

Only shit part for me was I didn't really get to see JR!!! Pissed.

Final stretch was meaningless and doesn't worry me.

Missing 2 starters and our 6th man. Down 14 after one. Ho hum. Essentially shat on them.

Andy did look so fucking bad though. Okafor is a beast. Abused us offensively.

Looking back at the box score...Okafor and Noel combined for as many rebounds in 60 minutes as TT and Cunningham got in 43.

I'm not sure it's supposed to work like that when you have two high lottery bigs.

thought okafor was pretty poor on the boards, although he did improve as the game went on.

Overall the game was interesting to find our just how poorly the guys can pass the ball when they assume its going to work but hats off to bron, mo, kevin, JJ and delly for putting their game faces back on and pulling out the win.

Noel is still not showing anything that makes me see him as a future core peice let alone all star

Noel plays good defense. That was his calling card in college. Definitely a defensive-first player.

The shoe is on the other foot now. Remember when we gave the Heat all we could a few times with our scrub teams? Well now that's us, and we just need to expect that level of play every game.

Thought Noels passing was fantastic. His vision is incredible, so he could be as good or better than Love in that area. His ability to disrupt the ball is also special.

I prefer TT and his toughness and rebounding for this team, but man if he could pass like Noel you would not give a shit about whether he had a jumpshot or not.

Noel could end up like Ben Wallace. His abilities are wasted on a team who is struggling to score and cares more about talent evaluation then wins. Like Wallace he may be wasted on bad teams but then blossoms when the team around him has enough offensive talent that he can solely concentrate on defense and helping his teammates.
