So with Goff we could get a good game manager, not necessarily a game changer. With Lynch we could get a game changer or a a draft bust ?

This could be a deep draft again for WRs so even if we miss out on the top 4, we could still get some good ones in round 3 or 4. Hopefully whoever is making the picks will get us our qb and then add some weapons for him.
Josh Gordon will be coming back next year so I wouldnt make WR a priority but i would take one or two in the later rounds. Those 2 will have to be our #1 pick. Otherwise, we will have to trade back into the 1st to grab one. Which isn't an ideal situation for a WR.

Plaxico Burress did alright his first season back after missing 2 years. Players miss the majority of seasons all the time due to injury. The only thing that will hold Gordon back is his peanut brain. What shape will he be in when he comes out ? He has been out of the game for so long it may take half a season for him just to get into game mode.
So far the Browns have had a scout at Memphis this season and wasn't there also a report about them looking into Connor Cook too? I wish I had faith in Farmer to draft the right quarterback. I think I've read on here that he had Carr, Teddy, Manziel ranked in that order and that he randomly (or Jimmy) picked Johnny. This could be the year we actually are drafting high enough to get a good QB prospect. I dont care if its Goff or Lynch. I just want one of them to be drafted by the Browns.
You be the judge! What shape will he be in when he comes out ? He has been out of the game for so long it may take half a season for him just to get into game mode.
I cant believe people want to use another first round pick on QB's that are just a gamble, particularly Lynch. The same people screaming for the browns to draft him will be the ones screaming to have him cut if half way through the season if he hasn't proven he's an absolute stud. they're the same people that wanted Manziel. we have more holes to fill then QB on this team. I'd rather take a sure bet, in a guy like Bosa to help defend the rush and pressure the QB.
I wish i could find an article i read earlier this year that broke it down even into the further rounds cause you're statistically not even that much better off drafting a qb early, but this shows even the first round is a 50/50 gamble http://www.cleveland.com/datacentral/index.ssf/2015/04/success_for_quarterbacks_picke.html
it's frustrating how short sighted many browns fans are. i'm sure i'll be berated for this opinion because QB is the most important position in the NFL but unless someone distinguishes themselves as the next Andrew Luck i'd rather gamble in the later rounds.
The Browns struggle so bad with the draft, should they deal all their picks since they're operating at far less than 50-50?
