Game 15: Cleveland (11-3) at Toronto (9-6)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm just happy this game doesn't mean anything. By the way Lebron is pissed. Expect him to call his team out again.

Look, it's OK to lose this game. Toronto is a respectable team, Cavs are missing important pieces.

But the defensive effort and performance was pathetic, atrocious, stupid.

Thompson and mainly Love should get belt beaten for a game like this.

I don't care how well Love shot. His defensive performance decided the game.

Everything in this post went well until the bolded part. Love wasn't guarding Lowry at any point of the game.

No Kyrie
No Shump
No Mozgov
No Delly

How exactly do you want the rotations to go? We had the lead every time he sat Lebron and Love together.

What didn't you understand with my post? This game could of been won with the proper fucking rotations.

There's ABSOLUTELY no fucking reason LeBron and Love should sit together on the bench with that horrendous LU toted out there.

Blatt is to blame.

They outscored us by 20+ in the paint, aren't going to win many games that way

Needed better rim protection and keep their wings out of the paint. Not the end of the world, one game in a long season

So we started out 8-1 after victimizing the Sixers and Knicks multiple times.

Since then we are 3-3 playing good teams in the East.

Brings you back down to earth...

Not really. The Cavs are much better, pretty easily, than the Raptors.

A good team, at home, should beat down a team like us that's so injured riddle.

They couldn't, they almost lost to us tonight. We just ran out of gas.

I refuse to get worked up about this game.
We are missing too many players for it to have any real meaning, whatever the outcome is. Literally no lineup on the floor was any lineup that will be used two months from now. We started Cunningham ffs.

People getting their knickers in a twist about this are hilarious to me.

What a pathetic loss.

Far from pathetic.

Lowry took it to Mo Williams and Jared Cunningham, was he should, being a self-proclaimed all-star. It broke down our entire defense, as it is desined to do, and we couldn't out-score them tonight.

Knew we were basically screwed when Dellavedova was out against Lowry. Was hoping we could just score 120 and steal a W, but we just didn't fire on all cylinders tonight.

Worry level: 0.

Why does JR do that? He can't hit the side of the backboard until there's absolutely no pressure at the very end of the game with a loss already in the bag.

He wasn't given any open shots until then. We went away from great ball movement to ISO and shit. Plus, we play horrible ole defense. Can't stay in front of anyone at this point. I want to give Kaun some run, if only to clog the paint because guys are getting touch and1s. There were at least 6 this game, and that's just giving them free points.

are you confident this team will be healthy come playoff time? i have no reason to be

Am I confident we won't have any injuries at all? IDK

Am I confident we won't have the majority of our starting lineup + a key backup all out at the same time? Yeah I'm pretty sure.

Not sure what happened. I did miss some of the game, because of other things, but we went away from Love. Didn't see anymore post touches.

The whole offense looked horrible in the second half.

The Cavs have beaten all of the good teams they've played except the Bulls and the Raptors...

Blew out the Hawks and Heat, beat the Pacers, stop spinning the schedule like the Cavs have only trashed scrubs

...Well, Carroll can have his fucking "L" back..until next time.

Can't win them all, but I do enjoy game threads with you guys...win or lose..whether it's my thread or someone elses!

11-4 is still pretty good!

Tristan and Love deserve a lot of blame for their defense down the stretch. I can't even point a finger at Mo. He tries really hard on that end, but he's just physically limited. Tristan and Love showed no effort on that end, drive after drive after drive.

You can't point a finger at Mo? Him getting beat almost every time down the floor screwed up all of our rotations. Lowry got past Mo at the end and Love had to commit to stopping Lowry. Lowry missed the shot, but Love was then out of position for the rebound. Biombo got the board and the and-1.

I think a lot of our guys were bad tonight on defense. But to not give blame to Mo is absurd, in my opinion.
