Game 15: Cleveland (11-3) at Toronto (9-6)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What is our record in the road vs good teams?
We played vs Bulls,Raptors and Detroit and lost all of them! We won vs Memphis when they were sucking so hard and Thats it...think we had one of the easiest schedules in the NBA.

Well, I think Toronto is shit compared to us. So I understand them to an extent, but they're not garbage.

Good teams are supposed to win at home. They could barely beat us on an off night, with major artillery force missing.

I don't want to use the injury excuse against shitty teams like the Sixers, or Knicks even. But against a team that was at least a playoff caliber, at home, it's more understandable when we don't win all of those games.

We are clearly better than the Raptors. So I don't really care about this game personally.

Bingo. If we have the guys that would lower Cunningham's minutes to zero we win this game. Delly would have made a difference in this game(not to mention the other three starters).

This is what Im talking about. Downplay the Memphis win while obverblowing the Detroit loss. Both teams are .500.

Is literally every team other than Golden State and Cleveland bad? Is that the stance one must take in order to discredit every win and overreact to every loss. Toronto IS a good team. So is Indiana.

Yes. Literally. 2nd placer in the east could beat up any team in the West except GS and we're light years ahead of them in terms of talent.

Far from pathetic.

Lowry took it to Mo Williams and Jared Cunningham, was he should, being a self-proclaimed all-star. It broke down our entire defense, as it is desined to do, and we couldn't out-score them tonight.

Knew we were basically screwed when Dellavedova was out against Lowry. Was hoping we could just score 120 and steal a W, but we just didn't fire on all cylinders tonight.

Worry level: 0.

Im not going to worry about anything unless we still look like dog shit come May. Im just saying...it was a hopelessly obnoxious loss, partly because its the first game ive been able to sit down and watch from start to finish, and partly because there seemed to be a layup drill run by toronto in the second half with zero opposition whatsoever.

At least were off to a better start this year while looking mediocre, unlike last year where we lost every night while looking subpar.

Seems like there is a new injury every week though and with two of our guys not even starting the season to begin with, that is worrisome...but not in November. Not yet.

People actually believe Chicago is better than San Antonio?

Clearly Toronto has plenty of talent, and I suspect they will end up top 3 seed, however plenty of help from cold shooting and home cooking refs in the fourth quarter. "Touch"/he got close to him fouls called for the raptors vs "he didn't mean to grab him fouls" not called for the cavs.

This loss was easy to see coming. For starters the raptors always come at us energy wise like its the nba finals. Second with no delly going up against Lowry you knew it would be a layup drill.

It's frustrating because we had a shot to take the game, but this loss should have surprised no one.

I didn’t like this game. Not much to say, I just didn’t like it. Excuses can be made but I won’t. I just didn’t like this game’s effort or lack thereof.

+24 in the paint for Toronto, unacceptable. 6 and one’s for the Raptors, unacceptable. Defeat is bitter, glad I can eat my feelings on the most epic food day.

Now seriously, I am not depressed over this but I really didn’t like this game. Just blah, moving on. Toronto scares no one in the NBA, 1st round exit for sure.

As a big Delly fan through the dark days of last year, I seriously cannot believe that the conversation has now become how important he is to our team winning...it is beyond amazing...he is almost 6th man worthy...and certainly the clue that holds the team together...

He will never be the showy, star type player...just blue collar grit, hard work, never say die attitude. As I said last year, he is the perfect reflection of Cleveland...he cannot be let go in the summer
