Game 16: Cavs @ Hornets, Thursday, November 27, 2015, 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He was doing well. No idea why they didn't put him back in. He definitely was NOT the problem.
Well without him we only let up 14 points in the 4th and won the game after trailing 90% of it so...

After the game, Vardon asked Blatt "What was the Calculus that made you decide to sit Love in the 4th quarter"

NONE, JOE. THERE WAS NO CALCULUS INVOLVED. DON'T USE THE WORD CALCULUS WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS. IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU SOUND SMART. YOU ARE A JOURNALIST. YOU COULD COME UP WITH 100 BETTER WORDS THAN THAT. THERE WAS NO CALCULUS INVOLVED, IDIOT!

My biggest pet peeve is when his questions are 5x longer than the answers given. You can tell LeBron doesn't like him lol.

"I could show you my differential equations, but the results are right there on the scoreboard for you to see."

The lineup has given up 14 points in the 4th. Defensive lineup without him won the Cavs the game.

This game was won by Delly and LeBron (and Love, when he was allowed to play). Whenever Delly came for Mo, the team got a jolt of energy. Delly +11, Mo -3. All you need to know.

When LeBron attacked the basket, good things happened (except when the refs swallowed their whistles). Jefferson ended up having an ok game, but he was bricking wide-open threes.

I dont get the fuss. letting your bench close out the game with 3 starters on the bench is trusting your bench.

The game was won on the defensive end.

Because the team could never get a stop, with Mo on the floor.

Mo was constantly losing his guy. Delly was constantly keeping his guy in front of him.

The team couldn't get a stop with either on the floor.
The only time they started getting consecutive stops is in the 4th quarter.

Delly was making big defensive plays throughout the game. Remember the stuff on Lin and the outlet pass?

Anyhow: SOMEONE was getting those stops in the 4th quarter, and Delly was doing as much as anyone, if not more. I mean, RJ, JR, and TT are some pretty mediocre defenders. It was Delly and LeBron clamping down, and those other guys holding their own. And LeBron and TT were grabbing boards, so we stopped giving them second chances.

One defensive play does not cancel out the whole team not being able to get stops throughout the game. Defense is a team effort most of the time.

Fact of the matter is, the lineup in the fourth is the only one that got us stops.

Nothing, statistical wise, stood out to me in this win. It was just a team fed up with their recent play and showed the aggressiveness in the 4th this team is known for.

I am not going to dissect the small ball in the 4th. I know every will look more into it as Love was benched but coaches ride momentum and that smaller lineup had it, nothing more. Glad to see this team close out a close game against a formidable foe.
