I remember being pumped when Romeo was gone. This makes me far happier.

The guy was unbelievably incompetent. Not Millen bad, but bad.
 
Can't think of a member of the Browns organization the last 17 years that deserved it more than Farmer.

Don't let the door hit ya on the way out.
 
In his defense he was rushed into the job. Going to be Jimmuh's 3rd GM in 4 seasons.
 
Crazy that he was fired before the game and just hung out in one of the boxes during the game.

Probably knew it was coming. Wanted to say goodbye to folks before he left. I think he was closer to Haslam than Pettine- and may not harbor ill feelings since it was Haslam who not only gave him a chance but kept him around after the texting fiasco. If you remember Eric Wedge was fired with two weeks to go in the season but stayed on to finish out the year. Might be like that.

I'm glad he is no longer GM, terrible draft record along with drama, but it sucks to see anyone lose a job.

That Alec Scheiner rubs me the wrong fucking way. I have heard him on the radio pimping the Brown's facilities and he talked like a salesman extensively about "improving the fan experience."

What these fuckers fail to realize is that we'd all sit on rusty bleachers if we could have a good fucking football team.

Oh great you're pumping the soundtrack to Halloween through the loudspeakers, THAT'LL DO IT!

Jesus if that guy is promoted to making legitimate football decisions; head for the hills. Eliminate the team.

It's ridiculous to think about, but he's the guy that's made the best personnel decisions over the last 5 years.

Sashi Brown seems like a weird choice to promote to GM though. No experience at all beyond the analytics level.
 
I think Sashi Brown would be a fantastic person to RUN the Football Operations. Doesnt mean he will make the picks.

If Brown can create a heavy analytics front office, I am fine.

It almost sounds like he has a similar background to Banner. I wonder if this means Wolf is out?
