As I have posted in other threads, I actually like the Tyrod possibility best because of the potential cost/benefit win, combined with a Mahomes/Webb developmental lower pick. Really like avoiding the opportunity costs associated with JG: I want to make all of the first five picks to bring in starter level talent.
What you are really doing with Taylor is upgrading RG3. Combining him with Watson would be awesome, but unlikely. Unfortunately, when it's all said and done, I don't think BUF will let him go in favor of Cardale.
With Garoppolo, I have absolutely nothing against him and if Hue chooses to go that route fine. Just don't want to see 1st round picks combined with an automatic big-dollarextension for an unproven player. And he IS unproven. There's potential there, but that is what it is--potential. So if they can do the 2-2's deal OK--that why Sashi got us the extra picks in the first place. I am just not anointing this guy before I see him win in a Browns uniform as many seem to want to do.
The best remaining scenario would be to take one of Watson (preferably) or Trubisky at 12; but I don't think they will available there.
Therefore, with pressure mounting to address (solve) the QB in this draft process; I believe that when draft day rolls around, CLE will wind up trading down a couple spots (or stand pat at 1) and draft their potential FQB, then trade up from 12 for Solomon.
There you have it!
