I don't want to argue with you too much. I rather keep my friendship with the few people that give me likes from time to time.. to balance that Post/Like ratio.
I'll go to war against Bimbo though.
Anyways, I think Love just takes more wide open 3's as a Cav and his 3pt% right after he first broke out has been pretty consistent throughout his career hovering at around .37%. Other than his injury year and the season he shot the 3 ball at .417%
I would expect Love to shoot around .40% with the amount of open looks he gets with this team tbh.
As for the Fat Love debate, I really think he lost that weight because he wanted to look better and there is nothing wrong with that.
I don't think it was mainly a basketball decision and if I were famous and started to become self concious about my looks I would lose that weight and never look back.
Love helps us on the defensive end because of his rebounds, not because of his PnR defense.. I think his 15 RPG > his 12.5 RPG impact wise, even with his improvement in PnR defense.
But, I don't know the % of his uncontensed rebounds so I can't really know for sure.
On offense I think i'll definitely take Fat Love because he would abuse Durant in the post. Right now, Kevin has problems backing down his man. He never had a very refined post game so his brute strength was something else. Even if he missed the shot he would often rebound his miss. Kevin tends to miss a lot of point blank shots, his FG% around the rim was much better back then and it's sometimes frustrating watching an all-star big man miss easy shots.
But to make my point clearer, I was generally talking about Love in Minnesota and that included his 2013-2014 which was his best season. His advanced numbers were insane back then. I don't think he could replicate that even if you put him on a team similar to Minnesota where he can be the number 1 option.
