Maybe LeBron does, but other players like Channing have said the exact opposite.
Interesting. Quotes?

Yes but given his "banishment" from the league for multiple years, his low ceiling, the waiver order, and roster composition of other teams, it was pretty likely no one before Dallas would claim him.
Not saying Dallas WANTED Liggins no matter what, but I'd be shocked if this wasn't part of the back channel conversations that took place just before Williams and Bogut were bought out/waived.
Also:
yeah I am still not buying into that being the move,if it is whatever I guess we are just giving up on playing Defense this season in the hopes to outscore everyone.
Err, no. It’s been verified by multiple independent sources.yeah I am still not buying into that being the move,if it is whatever I guess we are just giving up on playing Defense this season in the hopes to outscore everyone.
This supposed rumor still not confirmed besides Haynes quoting Reichert. There are no "welcome to Cleveland Dahntay Jones" poppers on Cavs official site.
No real legitimate sources inside the organization have come out of the woodwork and said anything to confirm this. Why not? because it just aint true.
No, Dallas could actually really utilize a defensive guard like Liggins next season with their small guard lineups,If it were not for his lackluster ball handling ability, his defense alone would be enough to keep him in a rotation on 85% of the nba's active rosters. Not including Offensive powerhouses,or teams that have coaches that live and die on Offense on most nights. Liggins is undervalued by fans just like every other defensive specialist in this league, but every team covets players like this when they don't have one, and Dallas didn't.Yes but given his "banishment" from the league for multiple years, his low ceiling, the waiver order, and roster composition of other teams, it was pretty likely no one before Dallas would claim him.

Nope it isn't
It wasnt repayment to Dallas.
It was Cuban and Gilbert helping each other out again.
Cuban got control of Liggins.
Gilbert saved 2.5 million in tax money on a guy that wasn't gonna play.
I'm totally buying that as the conspiracy. The Cavs definitely did this for the monetary savings. 100%. They knew he was getting claimed.
Yeah but the fact remains the person who supposedly spoke to the AP did so on condition of anonymity Tuesday because the team hasn't announced any deal. He's the most credible Cleveland sports writer outside of McMenamin, Lloyd and Windhorst.

Well, I guess that's a done deal then because ANONYMOUS said so?No, because whenever any player is signed by this organization it is released immediately.
He may very well be who we are signing unfortunately, but he has not been signed yet or it would have been released they we did so.
Regardless of what reputation any writer has,you have to take it with a grain of salt. No one is right 100% of the time, and Anonymous is wrong more than they are right.
I get the waiving of Liggins assuming that Griffin had a pretty good feel for Dallas having interest, monetarily anyway. But trying to wrap my head around signing Dahntay Jones when there are plenty of bigger holes to fill.
Liggins definitely could have helped us in the post season, not sure Jones would do much more than get a couple of hoops.
when it is official it is official , before that it is garbage. You really don't understand how this all works....
So, Woj is wrong and not credible? Because this is what you are getting at.
