LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dramatic much?
Absolutely not....what happened tonight absolutely tarnished LeBron's legacy, like it or not. Jordan would have never performed like LeBron did tonight in an ECF Game 3 at home.

Short of eviscerating the Warriors, this is the nail in the Jordan/LeBron debate coffin.

What LeBron did tonight was just unconscionable.

Two things tonight

- I think LeBron wanted to take a step back and let Love and Irving get their rhythm. And then he could not turn it on late with no rhythm.

- I think the one day of rest games are catching up to him. The faster this round is over, the better.

Dude dicked around, played passive, and now we have to go back to Boston. It's like we were up 20 at the half and he decided to just not play since he wasn't going to get his 30 point streak going. Frustrating.

Nobody is going to remember this game if LeBron goes on to win another title.

He had to have an off night sometime because nobody could keep up the numbers he was putting up, but this was especially bad.

Also, there wasn't another gear to go to in the fourth because had played the entire game again, so he couldn't do what he. Or ally does when he struggles shooting and that is grab defensive rebounds and take them the length of the court. Playing he entire game--thst has to stop happening in the rest of this series and used only as a must against GS, but we see that James can tire out after 3 games.

We needed to sweep for optimum recovery time and practice for the finals and it didn't happen.

Honestly not sure what was wrong with him. How can you look so unbelievably good the whole playoffs, like maybe best in your career, and then play one of the worst games of your career? Zero aggression or effort.

Maybe it is really just a matter of him not taking his opponent seriously, but that is hard to believe with his experience and the fact it is game 3 of the ECF. I hope he isn't gassed. I don't know, it was bizarre.

Lebron deserves blame for this game. But can we please hold it at that and chill the fuck out about his legacy?

Christ these forums are going to be unreadable after we lose in the Finals.

I can think of a game 2 where MJ played like straight ass in the ECF vs the Cavs of all teams, in 1992. Cavs won by 28 I think...And that was at home.

There's no logical explanation for this performance.

Just absolute idiotic performance from him. Players have bad performance. They shoot like shit. But he was completely passive tonight. You can't be passive in a fucking Conference Finals, where you have the chance to wrap the series and get some extended rest to prepare for the NBA Finals.

I am very curious to hear what he has to say.

Just for the record, I have no doubt he bounces back tonight and we wrap this shit up in the next two games but this was such a bizarre performance!

Boston switched up coverage on him tonight...they were trying to get up into his body in games 1 & 2, and tonight they were OK giving space but containing his ability to get to the rim.

Tough game to lose with the output of Love, Irving, and especially Thompson. I'm sure LeBron will make necessary adjustments but that was tough to watch....

What pisses me off is he was just careless and unfocused. It's one thing if you're trying and focused, but just not making shots. But the shots he was taking were mind boggling. He's out there tossing up turnaround long twos, but passing up layups so that he could try and thread the needle inside. If he was focused and wasn't fucking around we would have won this game 100%.

Didn't tarnish his legacy. That's fucking insane.

However, I do agree Jordan would've never let this happen. Just too much drive in that guy, and he would have stepped on the fucking throat of the C's.

Different players I guess.

Bad day all around for LBJ.

I would hope he wasn't tired. He played like 30 minutes Friday. Then a day off. He was disinterested from the tip. I don't think he was tired.
