LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Here lies the career of LeBron James, sadly derailed by a single bad outing in Game 3 of the 2017 Eastern Conference Finals.

LeBron James had been considered a shoo-in Hall Of Famer until Game 3 took place. Now, all such talk has been tabled.

Wait what? LeBron had 34/5/6 in Game 4 and the Cavs went up 3-1 in the series?

Told ya.

Game 3 erased. Totally meaningless in the larger perspective of LeBron's career.

Very good 2nd half by Lebron. Tough spot with all the foul trouble but he responded well and played aggressive.

A lot of accusations of tanking and disrespect to his mom in the game thread because he missed 3 open jumpers and had two horrible calls against him from the refs.

You'd think after he already won 2 championships and decided to come back to Cleveland anyway would have stopped people from going that far.
You'd think winning a championship while down 3-1 would have ended those type of reactions.
You'd think 6 qrts of poor play (he was actually decent first half in game 3, but I'll count it anyway) would not warrant that kinda hate.

Oh well. You'll be praying your ass off for him to dominate the finals. He only put up 2 of the 3 greatest PER finals in NBA history last year. Yea lets hope he does that again.

What other all-time great never gets the benefit of the doubt on offensive foul calls and goes to the rim over and over again without any calls? He should have shot 10 FTs at the very least tonight. He should call out this shit in the presses or get Lue to do it. That was bullshit.

What's interesting, though, is that facing this adversity against a team that has nothing to lose and can chuck up shots probably helps this team in the long run as long as nobody gets hurt and they can close it out in 5. With LeBron struggling and/or sitting, Kyrie has now come alive and Love is playing well all around. Game 3 could wind up to be s good thing although down 16 it didn't look like it.

Absolutely not....what happened tonight absolutely tarnished LeBron's legacy, like it or not. Jordan would have never performed like LeBron did tonight in an ECF Game 3 at home.

Short of eviscerating the Warriors, this is the nail in the Jordan/LeBron debate coffin.

What LeBron did tonight was just unconscionable.

Also of note...

Did you see how strong LeBron looked in the fourth only having played 26 mins before the 4th? 38 for the game?

That foul trouble might have been the best thing to happen today. It forced Kyrie to take over and not let the Celtics lead spread. LeBron was noticeably fresher in the game late. Missed out on 4 free throw attempts because of missed calls.

Sadly our bench is still so bad. Just 7 points today.

It doesn't allow us to sit LeBron unless something crazy happens.

I think Lebron saw how close we were to the finals and really took a step back past couple games and wanted Kyrie and Love to get a rhythm. It's been all Lebron up until this point. Kyrie and Love looked like monsters today and it seemed like once Lebron saw that he decided to get in on the action in the 4th.

At least I hope that's what is was, last game and portions of this game he didn't really play with much effort...

I need to say this because it's been bugging me for a while: LeBron is not going to get enough foul calls on the scoop layups. He needs a different move to sell the fouls. No amount of standing around and complaining after is going to change that reality and it's been happening for years.

And oh, btw, I hope Ty or Dan go off on the refs tonight. That was by far one of the worst refereed games I have seen against us and especially LeBron who was fouled, mauled and grabbed like anything, yet the refs gave fuck all respect.

I understand Ty's decision not to take a Tech during the game by go off on the refs for the absolutely ridiculous display. Flatout ineptness from the refs. Gave me flashbacks of those Lakers series against Blazers and Kings and 76ers against Bucks.

LeBron had 34-5-6 on 56%, It was his 2nd worst playoff game this year!

Just appreciate how amazing this guy is, when you watched tonight's game I know you also felt that it was a OK game for LeBron but nothing spectacular and below the standard were accustomed to in this years playoff's.

90% of other NBA players would consider this to be their best game of their careers if they posted those numbers in the ECF on a big stage in an important game.

Well, good second half tonight. Jumper looked like it did in the first 10 games of this series, after it left him for game 3 and the first half of game 4.

Rare you see LeBron with 27 shots....just 4 ft attempts.

I am concerned that he's losing his 3 ball before the finals.

He needs to do a better job on the boards as well.
