A ring is a ring though. Had he stayed in Oklahoma and not won anything, he would've gotten the Karl Malone or Charles Barkley treatment. It is a permanent stain on their legacies and it would've been on his as well. It wasn't courageous or noble of him to go to the Warriors. But, winning a ring validates a person with a hall of fame type career. We can all call him names and bemoan it. But, he just exercised his right as a free agent to move to a team he felt was better equipped to win. At some point, players should have some control over where they play.
