Hey man, after having GBS, there's some scary stuff going on w/ immunizations. Very common for people to contract GBS after a Flu Shot. That's something I'm not allowed to receive for the rest of my life.

That said, I still think you immunize your kids because you're playing smart odds that way, not because it's without its risks though, IMO.

I'm sorry for your struggles, but are there any medically confirmed links between GBS and vaccinations?

In the case of Autism, the doctor who attempted to make the link is no longer a doctor. He lost his license because of fraudulent results in his study.

But let's not lose sight of the reason this thread started: My wife's friends are terrible human beings. Today she tried to toss me an Olive Branch I guess and gave me some weird rice and chicken frittata wrapped up in tin foil. What am I, the local homeless? Keep your leftovers for yourself and feed that fat ass of yours in an hour, honey!

Thanks for the kind words. It's largely focused around Flu Shots. Big outbreak in 76 era from Swine Flu vaccines, too. Was odd, after I got diagnosed, some family in KY had 2 co-workers get diagnosed after their mandatory flu shots (nursing).

I've not personally heard it tied to particular vaccines, mostly, the flu shot. Though I was told not to take pneumonia vaccines either and TB vaccines are questionable as well.

Basically, once you've been diagnosed, they're super careful about ANYTHING that's vaccine based.

My condolences on your wife's friends. :)
 
I have a rule of thumb. And I'm being totally serious. If you're willing to eat her anus out then you have the right one.
