Patrick Beverly chimes in on Cavs:

https://youtu.be/EbXHZ4WoyFY

Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is out for the season after undergoing knee surgery, which leaves him plenty of time to watch First Take.

On Wednesday’s show, commentator Will Cain argued that he doesn’t believe the new-look Cavaliers, now on a four-game winning streak, are a “lock” to reach the NBA Finals for a fourth consecutive year. After the segment on ESPN, Beverley called out Cain on Twitter.

Beverley and Cain argued on Twitter, but later in the day Beverley actually called in to Cain’s radio show and told him exactly why he’s wrong.

Of course I’m not playing this year so I’m able to be a fan this year. Any basketball player will tell you, no matter what team… and it’s hard for us to say it. Any team LeBron James on is a lock to come out of anywhere – except in the West, because the West is a different monster.

… And you have to give every team out there respect. Brad Stevens has done a hell of a job with Boston. Toronto has been playing their [expletive] off. It’s a lot of good teams. But, you know, it is LeBron James.”

We may very well see a different starting lineup against GS. I highly suspect Green Lebron Love as the frontcourt. TT gets very few minutes that series.
I would say it depends on how Lue sees his rotation the rest of the season.
I think we all do.
Sometimes it's not who starts as we have seen , but who finishes.

Hill vs curry
Jr vs klay
Lebron vs Durant
Love vs draymond
TT vs zaza

Clarkson vs Livingston
Hood vs swaggy p
Cedi vs Iggy
Jeff green vs David west
Nance Jr vs McGee

That's how I see the playoff matchups vs the warriors.

Nance needs to start, have no idea why you would be relying on TT once Love gets back. Nance, Lebron, Love, Green should be our main front court rotation with TT on spot duty or for good match ups

Just thought tt would be a better matchup vs zaza

Agree with Tonyn. I think you get either TT and Love or LeBron and Love or even LeBron Green Love 345.

Nance is awesome and I bet he gets big minutes, probably even starters minutes, but we need other bigs to soak up time at the 5. TT will continue to do that and starting him against Zaza would make sense.

TT against Zaza does nothing for us... both of them just can't take advantage of each other, just like TT's matchup against Biyombo when we faced Toronto.

Nance would just out hustle, out run and make Zaza miserable in the PnR.

TT has a better chance to to be effective against either Jordan Bell, McGee or West.

But then you obviously don't have that Clarkson/Nance connection and there is a chance that TT just fucks up our bench like he did when he came back.

Conclusion: TT is a bad basketball player.

It's like people didn't even watch Nance at center against OKC. And that was against one of the biggest toughest centers in the league! GS is a much better matchup.

One way or another though, we need Nance out there most of the game. We are just a lot better team with him on the floor

I think so too, but he gives so much effort you can't play him 40 min. He will be exhausted by the end of the game. You also want to use him as a different look so they have problems adjusting when he comes in.

I'm more thinking I don't want zaza to hurt Nance, I think tt could absorb the physical aspect of zaza better than Nance could.
We could also use tt to tire zaza out a bit then let Nance come in and run him off the court.

Plus I say use Nance against McGee because length bothers tt while Nance is more athletic and has a better bbiq than McGee does and would be able to exploit that match up

I think it's possible that Houston comes out of the west. They're still making moves and may make others. Just one injury to those frail fellows Durant or Curry and things can look different. If we think we win the east, we need to be prepared at least mentally for any opponent.

Hill << curry
Jr << klay
Lebron > Durant
Love > donkey
TT < zaza

Clarkson > Livingston
Hood >> swaggy p
Cedi = Iggy
Jeff green > David west
Nance Jr > McGee
How I see the talent head to head

Of course this means nothing but it’s interesting to see. Their back court is just incredible man
