Game 80 for the 3rd Seed | Cavs (49 - 30) @ Philly (48 - 30) | April 6th, 2018 | 7:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Embiid not playing and we've been down by 30. We need Frye and RJ back. I still can't get how they don't show up to a game that has seeding in the balance...

Happier subjects: Bulls beating the Celts & Hawks on top of the Wiz .... both at the half

Like those Hawks games last year...

Last night y'all were loving LeBron. Tonight it's "fuck him, end his fucking streak". So fickle, so typical.

I love LeBron always, unconditionally even.

I also didn't say either of those things in your post...

but I can love LeBron and still be massively disappointed in the unprofessional way he's playing tonight.

It's like marriage. I love my wife more than anything....but sometimes she can be a passive aggressive bitch and I call her out on it. Doesn't change the fact that I love her.

The Cavs just showed up that's it. They punted this game from tipoff.

Is anyone getting the feeling that we're just not all that good, even when we try? The evidence is building up, we just have a hard time beating good teams.

We need LeBron to play at his best every time to beat good teams simply because we have an absolutely garbage coaching staff who don't think defense matters. Ideally, having LeBron go and get you buckets would be useful but you need stops for that. Say what you want about Mike Brown and our pre-2010 teams, but at least they could get stops at key stages and give LeBron a chance at the other end.

Obvious lineup adjustments that will work. Hill, Hood, Lebron, Love and Nance. Then switch to LeBron, Korver, JR, Green and TT. Rest LeBron and bring in Jose, then rotate Green with Love. Midway through bring back the starters. No Clarkson and Green on the floor together. If JR and Korver are in together, Lebron must be in or Jose. Might look confusing but we have 3 guys that play extreme iso. Green, Clarkson and LeBron. Only difference is LeBron passes the ball, the other 2 don't.

Not bad, but I would cut Tristan and JR completely out and move Love to center at times. Agreed, Clarkson plays with other point guard/LeBron to take him off the ball as a two-guard.

Would consider starting Korver instead of Hood, as well. I think you need to maximize Korver with LeBron instead of these other lineups they're throwing out there with him to start 2nd quarters. His defense will be fine against most opponents.

I think Kevin Love needs to be on the court to start the 2nd quarter no matter what happens.

Also, this is major: the defensive scheme needs to change. I'm counting down the days until they inevitably scrap it because they can't afford to lose playoff games.

Really?? I get the overreaction. But Frye was slow as fukk and couldn't keep up with the speed of Philly. Jefferson's jumper was broke.

It's called a game plan fellas. Have 1.
these coaches don't know the strength and weaknesses of their own players, expecting them to know and plan for the opponents is out of the question lol

You’ve got it backwards; I’ve got discerning taste buds :chuckle:

Nope. Would you rather pay big bucks for good quality food cause you can't enjoy the low quality, cheap food or would you rather enjoy almost every food whether it's garbage or expensive? I would rather have whorish taste buds that enjoy every damn piece of food. More economical and more available.

And every game where we get smacked in the mouth you bury your head further in the sand at his embarrassing efforts

He's 4-12 with 5 turnovers in 20 minutes and we're down 23.

There's plenty of opportunities to defend LeBron, this half isn't one of them. He isn't trying. We're getting our asses whooped by an Embiid-less Sixers team.

Bron brings the criticism on himself.

He says he should win the MVP...but the problem is we've seen the same show he's putting on tonight for a big chunk of the season. MVP's don't massively underachieve in a weak conference, they don't get blown out by less talented, injured teams...

Na man I’m with you tonight haha.
