Round 1 Game 2 | Cavs vs Pacers | April 18, 2018 | 6:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I said he should try to score on the slow white guy without having to take a jumper.

You said a man was the biggest pussy you've ever seen because he jammed his thumb during a basketball game.

People get irritated at players and pop off during game threads. You spent the entire season doing it at Lebron so you should understand. True it wasn't about injuries but Lebron never ever gets injured so who knows what would be said if he did. Maybe Lebron having inconsistent regular season effort while leading the league in minutes at the age of 33 to drag his team to the playoffs is a result of him being human and not actually a superhero, just like KLove jamming his thumb is a result of being human.

Anyway, fortunately the players rarely read RCF game threads so I think everyone should get a little room to vent

Please get 3 more wins.

I admire the passion of some of the Indiana fanbase, but it gets frustrating to hear people from a city I love constantly dissing my team, etc.

It's consistent whining about LeBron isn't physical, etc. All the typical garbage.

When your director and boss tells you to do something, it puts you in a hard place. Especially for a women analyst.

Yup. Young, pretty, female. No chance she gets the benefit of doubt. Tough spot and I bet LeBron understands and knows that too.

so is it acceptable to call out Nances absolutely horrible game? in 24 minutes he scored 2 points and it was on a designed play for him. he had the worst +/- on the team. missed his only 2 FTs and was an absolute sieve on defense.

dude needs to step it the fuck up

Absolutely. It’s the playoffs and if you play shitty expect to get criticized. Nance, Hood and JC all played pretty crappy. Green doesn’t even deserve to have his name mentioned.

True it wasn't about injuries

This is where I'm just gonna start and end my response. That's literally the only reason I made the "you should be ashamed of yourselves" post.

I also never called LeBron names. Like, even when I complained, LeBron was never a "lazy ass piece of fucking shit" or something like that. I really do try to understand the human aspect. And it's why the entire year I also was like "fuck, LeBron is pissing me off, but I do know he's always and always will be worth it because of the playoffs...but I'd like to see a shot or two contested this week..."

I think the worst thing I seriously said one, maybe two times, is that he could go "fuck himself" during that "protest to get IT traded" era. And that was probably wrong to say.

I understand where you're coming from but there were flat out multiple line-crossing posts that should have been ban worthy but it's a game thread as you said, so it really does take a lot.

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet after hearing so much shit all season long (especially from a select few).. no one better complain about lebron anymore.. even if he leaves this pathetic ass team when we don’t make it to the finals.. man threw his damn back out from carrying this team so much tonight. Smh

I understand all of that and I understand everyone defending him all year...because of games like tonight....where he was otherworldly....

the tradeoff is ALWAYS worth it. I've ALWAYS said that..playoff LeBron is worth dealing with the body language of regular season LeBron. I've probably posted that exact sentence, in the same post I criticized Bron in, 100's of times during the year.

Still frustrating as all fuck when it's happening...

But like I said, I wasn't defending Love's play I was defending Love as a person after he got hurt and a group of select people tried to take a giant shit on Kevin Love as FAR more than just a basketball player. That's where I drew the line.

If the posts all said "Love is one of the most disappointing playoff performers I've seen", I would disagree but I wouldn't have called anyone out over it.

Fair enough. I’m not one that critized Love for getting injured, FWIW.

I’m personally going to refrain from criticizing LeBron for taking plays off. I’ll criticize him for making dumbass passes like I did in game 1, but with the way he had it going tonight, whatever he feels like doing offensively, I can live with. There’s no reason for him to run himself into the ground this series. If we win, he has to be Superman vs the Raptors. If we lose because he takes a few plays off, IDGAF. If we lose to the Pacers with him giving 90%, we aren’t beating the Raptors with him at 100% anyways.

I also think we need to give Hood the benefit of the doubt. He just has twins today. He's new father and alot is going through his mind. Should've had the night off.

I think we just need someone to step into that #2 role and we should be fine for this round. Who that'll be though, if it even happens, idk. Hopefully Love's hand isn't broken since we're already slim in the frontcourt.
Oh I still think we'll get to the finals...just might be a war to get there..

Also part of me thinks we're watching one of LeBron's last prime years and well...we kept the Nets pick.

I know in the long run its the right move. However, if Steph is truly hurt, Harden continues choking, etc...I'm going to be pissed we didn't go all in on this season.

Dude her job could've been on the line. Did you see recently how Sinclair made all those news anchors read that script? Allie LaForce doesn't run the show. She takes direction from someone else and her job depends on it.

Nope. Wrong. This is how awful, unethical things happen every day: "my boss made me dump those chemicals in the river."

Bullshit. If she can't stand up for what's right, then she is ALSO to blame.

I know it's frustrating for a lot of people to watch LeBron half ass it at times in the regular season, but games like tonight should remind people why he does it. He has to do it because he knows he'll have to drop 40 pieces to carry this team come playoff time.
the scary thing is that it might not be enough. I really hope lebron stays in cleveland, but
15pts total from 4 guys acquired at the deadline...

Soft fuckers
Yeah they're gonna have to pull off some big moves in the offseason to keep LeBron

Love is not the bad guy but has no excuse to not be more aggressive. This is his 4th straight playoff run. He needs to start acting like he is a star not a role player. 20 and 15 every night is what I expect.

this is the problem. right there. why do you expect that. why?

shaq did this twice EVER in the playoffs. shaq, as in a top 10 NBA player of all time only did it twice. why in gods green earth do you expect that out of kevin love
