He was referring to red zone tight windows which again, PFF that you love to cite against Allen, ranks him top among all the draft's QBs. Wyoming would be a near-winless dumpster fire without Allen. And I literally said "minus accuracy".
Good...lord...
Spectre, just a little info on Wyoming and Josh Allen. Wyoming scored in the red zone every time they got in it this year but one exception. In the New Mexico game they were up by fourty plus , so Bohl had them run it on 4th and long so he didn't run up the score by kicking a field goal. The backup qb was in the game when it happened. That was the only time Wyoming didn't score in the red zone all year long.
Another thing people don't understand about a Bohl coached team. Whenever they get a lead of 7 or more the OC takes the air out of the ball and runs clock. Taking the ball and momentum out of Allens hands. It is a run first offense, so if Allen is lucky he gets to throw on third down. And the other team knows, and brings the pressure. And it is not like Allen has the best receivers or O-line or running backs, but he just goes and does his job without throwing anyone under the bus. His receivers were terrible and couldn't get separation against a high school team. The running backs were so bad that they brought a linebacker off of the reserves and started him at running back . He carried the ball standing up almost straight. Allen would have been the leading rusher except for taking losses after getting blindsided because of lack of protection. His starting line was 2 freshman, 2 sophomores, and 1 senior. The fullback got his first and only carry in the bowl game. I could go on like this all day. You were correct in saying Allen had little help in winning games. I felt Allen was a winner and the team gave what they could. Allen never complained or ever yelled at anyone. A complete professional.
