Nobody outside of Ohio gives a shit about the Browns, or Indians because they haven't done anything. Bandwagon fans will only hop on if a team is doing good. The Cavs have millions of fans outside of Ohio and i'm one of them. Does that mean that I am a bandwagon fan? No because if I were i'd have liked the Celts last year not the Cavs. Likewise this year i'd be all over the Rockets cocks. I hate all of this he is a representation of our state shit because he isn't a representation of your state, but a person who means less to the Cavs organization than the guys that sell hot dogs outside of the games (cheap shot but I had to take it ). LeBron James is not replaceable, but this MoonDog means nothing to the Cavs.
I think people also look at it another way that Lebron James, at the end of the day, is just a player on the Cavs and WILL be replaced eventually, no matter what it's inevitable. Moondog is the mascot of the franchise and his actions represent and personify the franchise/front office.
Moondog did what he did while he was on the job and one would think his antics have to be run past higher ups. Lebron did what he did on his own personal time after being lifelong fans of the franchise.
But I can see how and why people could take both sides of this.
