Interesting developments in QB musical chairs....not sure if it belongs in this thread anymore....but current landscape looks like:
Austin Kendall to Duke. Austin is from Charlotte, huge Duke fan growing up, wants to step in for Daniel Jones who delcared early. Gives him a chance to play close to home under David Cutcliffe.
That leaves the OU job open. Jalen Hurts has now visited both Miami and OU. It sound slike the pendulum has swung from Miami to OU. It's looking like Hurts wants to be the guy that follows Mayfield and Muuray. I personally don't see it (if I'm OU I'd be pushing for Tate over Hurts but logical sense is that they don't want to piss off Spencer Rattler who is a true frosh and wouldn't like the possibility of 3 Tate Martell years in front of him).
That opens up Tate's first choice, which seems to be Miami. Yes, he looked at WVU yesterday, but it sounds like he'd like to link up with his boys from Bishop Gorman and try and resurrect "the U". He wasn't going there if Hurts was following Enos. Personally, I think Miami would be much better off hitching their wagon to Tate than Hurts. You'd have 3 years of eligibility vs. 1 in Hurts, and I think Tate is just the better player, anyways.
In summary......I think Tate to Miami, Hurts to OU, Austin Kendall to Duke.
