A poster on the Browns subreddit claims they'll have four prime time games with one of those being a MNF opener against the Jets.

I can buy that.

I have long suspected the Patriots game will be the main CBS 4:25pm Game of the Week in like Week 2 or 3 IMO and not on TNF, SNF or MNF.

I think Browns/Rams will be a Sunday Night Football game for sure. Browns/Ravens and Browns/Steelers could both be on national TV.

Why the fuck would they want the Jets on MNF week 1.

Jesus Christ.

Why does the NFL want a team located in the country's biggest media market to play in one of their prime time showcases?

I'm looking forward to continue my boycott of the NFCE in primetime this year. It's a small part, but someone has to take a stand against mediocre football.

Sorry but I see Browns/Jets as a snooze fest week 1 MNF game...

Should be 28-7 by the end of it.

Meh, never know; Darnold might take a leap and give us some problems irrespective of his face.

Ok, so don't watch then? Jesus.

I for the life of me cannot understand the disposition of some of the posters on this site. It seems as if some other force, is making them post and you can sense the disgrunteldness in their tone.

You do remember they got this guy named Le'Veon Bell in the off-season.....I think he's pretty good.

I like it - good tune up game.

Because it's the fifty year anniversary of MNF and the first MNF game was Browns/Jets. Also, both teams have promising second year QBs, new coaches, new stars (OBJ here and Bell there), and hope for the immediate future.

I love it! Baker throws 4 TD’s, Chubb has 2, and most importantly, we end all hope for the Jets’ immediate future with a 42-13 ass kicking.

I mean you can surely get a better game on MNF week 1...

You can also get a much better prime time Browns game for MNF than the god damn Jets.

Rams, Seahawks, Ravens x2, Steelers x2, Patriots, 49ers, Cardinals all figure to be more intriguing than the hell hole that is the New York Jets.

I wouldn't just assume the Jets are gonna be awful this year. Darnold looked great toward the end of the season.
