2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kevin Porter Jr. Man he looks like a baller. His shake is so good. Athleticism shooting and handle.

I want to take a gamble, just swing for the fences on a high potential guy.

Reddish, Bol, or Porter fit that mold for me.

I liked his highlight but it's concerning that he only scored 9.5 point per game and only got 22 minutes. It's not like USC is some powerhouse basketball program.

He seems real good off the ball, he seems to get open and is in the right places alot.

With his character concerns and lack of putting up a decent amount of points, I would think he is in play more if we can secure another pick in the teens with JRs contract than at #5.

He looks like a guy that would work very well as a 4th or 5th best player either coming off the bench or starting with a couple other ball handlers.

I'd like to trade with ATL for 8 & 10 and select Rui hachimura and Nassir Little.

People should really just take 5 minutes and watch this games highlights from Langford.. shows his full game from finishing to shot creating to vision. last 3 minutes of the game he just straight takes over with gorgeous shots.. His step backs are nastyyyy and shooting deeeeeep. Kid is 19. He is the whole team. And Maryland straight focuses on him and still.

Until we hear that ATL is absolutely zeroed in on one guy they must have, there’s no reason to believe they’re just dying to unload 8 and 10.

People are comparing him to Tony Wroten, but he is 1M times better as a shooter.

I do think he has one of the high upsides out of the draft. Total scoring isn't great, but he was pretty efficient. I guess he is a chucker.

I'm really torn on these wings. I could see Hunter, Culver, reddish, or Porter. I see that list in order of safest and lowest floor to riskiest highest ceiling.

With a good developmental coach should you just always swing hard?

Obvious and sadly. I think this draft is a little more heavy than people are stating.

Right -- there's no reason to believe right now that they want to trade 8 and 10. But there's nothing wrong with discussing potential options in the event it later turns out to be true. Especially considering we likely won't find out whether or not it is true until draft night.

AKA. please tell me they need cap relief. JR needs a place to retire.

Im more confused with who we should go with the more I watch all these guys. I can easily see what kind of offense we would run if we drafted Coby White. Basically a hyper version of what they ran in the second half of the season and I would just hope Beilein would lay into Nance to not slow down the pace. Coby White fits the best just from a size and on/off the ball play if they want to have a two guard setup. I think Langford could work but it alittle more questionable and Garland might actually fit in well but there isn't enough tape on him for a real answer. Garland's size throws a wrench into how him and Sexton would be on defense.

Of the wings if that's what they want, I think Reddish fits maybe the best because of his handles and size. We would have two 6'8 SG/SFs that can handle the ball. That alone would make it easier to eventually replace Love as a starter because Cedi already plays some small ball PF and Reddish could also. The league seems to be moving to using alot of 3 wing lineups.

If we went after Hachimura, I think he could be the eventual replacement for Love or if all goes well the strong SF that we could revolve our offense around. We then just have to hope we hit on the #26 pick as ball handler to pair with Sexton or we get one from trading JRs contract. At worst, we have to wait another year to give Sexton someone to share primary ball handling and distribution duties with.

I think it's fine if you want to call him a role player. I think what he becomes will be extremely valuable. A good scorer and elite defender. He's a better player than Otto Porter, IMO.

And the only thing truly wrong with Otto Porter is his contract.

If he was making half of his current salary, people would be falling over themselves with how much they love him. He's averaged 5.8 WS a year over the last five years.

The guy is a .480/.400/.800 career shooter and gives you 14-6-2-1.5, doesn't turn it over while playing good defense.

If Culver became Porter, we would all be very happy.

Culver has already shown more playmaking then Porter ever did in College or the NBA. Porter was and still is a guy you create for not a guy who creates for himself or others. Culver has shown the ability to get his own shot and to be a decent secondary or third play maker on a team.

Yeah he looks special. He looks better than Barrett the way he moves and handle the ball. Looks explosive. Reminds me of Kobe/Harden hybrid.

Would you guys trade 5 for Bradley beal? I have a feeling he’s available.
