Ever go to an extended spring training minor league game there? What are those stadiums like 11 months out of the year and what do the locals think? All of those ballparks in one city just sitting there empty seemed like a waste since at least Florida has a A+ league. They built with the Reds, not really their decision alone. And its not the furthest from Phoenix. Royals/Rangers is the hardest to get to in Surprise, Bell rd is a nightmare and there is no other way, atleast the Stadium in Goodyear is off the highway.
And its one of the newer stadiums, ofcourse its going to be out in one of the further suburbs. Colorado/Arizona got the new one in Scottsdale, cubs spent a fortune for theirs, not cheap dolans, cheap fans who wouldn't pay a fortune to go to the spring training games. And the one the White Sox/Dodgers built isn't much closer and honestly its a crappy stadium, just went, like the Indians one much better.
All the other stadiums are much older, the idea is to spread them around, its really not a cheap things, the new ones that are close make sense, cubs and Arizona.

The longer you wait the less you get back, delaying the rebuild and the slower you replenish the minor league system with high end prospects. As people said in the last series game thread; the team needs to be honest. They are not a World Series contender. Nor will they be next year. Trade away vets that have value and try to open up a new window three years from now. You are only delaying the obvious. The Indians aren't trading Lindor this summer. Maybe next summer (more likely next winter), but not now. Kipnis would just be a salary dump, but that wouldn't be until the end of July.
Martin, Otero, O. Perez, and Clippard could also be moved if they fall out of it.
The only major move could be trading Bauer. He could potentially bring in a haul from the Yankees or Padres that could help both now and the future.
Mr. Orange getting absolutely destroyed in here.
Make better jokesYeah ok. I swear the Indians Forum is the most sensitive by far. The Cavs and Browns fans have no issues joking about their owners. You need to lighten up.
Totally. It’s ok. Don’t have any fun. I’m sure the Indians will win next year anyways. Remember, the more you spend at the ballpark the better chance they have to win. Tell em Larry sent ya.

You’re not funny.
Be funny.
Amuse us, clown.
You know what is amusing, is how much whining you do in S34 about ppl who should be banned bcz you don’t agree with them. I like your analysis but your holier than thou takes are an RCF running joke.
Lighten up. The level of butthutt over a Dolan joke is hilarious. It’s as if people can only take sarcasm if Jigo posts it.
"Dude! It was just a joke!" is the worst defense for shit behavior. Find a new shtick. You know what is amusing, is how much whining you do in S34 about ppl who should be banned bcz you don’t agree with them. I like your analysis but your holier than thou takes are an RCF running joke.
