Im pretty sure that question of whether its better to just roll with the great chemistry or to go out and find that great piece is becoming clearer and clearer.
The Wallster is a starugglin.
I tell you what, I'm sure the chemistry wont be too good come April if Wally is still jacking up bad shots, missing good looks and turning the ball over.
I've said this many times that I'd be surprised if moving Wally ruined the teams chemistry. Surely the upgrade in talent will be a shot in the arm for this squad. I'm certain that Ferry will do his homework and bring in someone who will not create headaches in the locker room.
At the end of the day Wally right now is being asked to fill a role. He couldn't look any more awkward and inneffective if he tried. This horse is on the wrong course.
Karma trading Wally isn't going to hurt one freaking bit..how many times does he look slow to react , and can't do anything if he's covered on a shot?
Last nite he looked pathic..kicking the ball off his feet twice when he coulda just reached down and snagged it..
I don't understand how anyone could not see he is the weak link right now..
Because people think he is a 'lucky sock'. Most of you are aware that superstition is so big in sports culture. If something amazing happens when you are doing something like folding laundry when you watch the game, and it happens again the next time you are doing laundry, you try to do it every time you watch the game. So people think that we are still winning with wally on the team so we should stand as is. This is such a dumb idea. There are so many holes in his game right now, and if we had a good player that could defend or hit open shots, maybe even make his own shot, that would be the difference maker in a game vs a good team like LA or Boston. If you watched today's game and still think wally deserves a spot on this team, I suggest you leave before getting flamed or keep your opinions to yourself (except for wallys world, I always get a laugh out of anything he says like "Wally is strong like bull")
Wally does not decide to bewith the cavs or not. He decides to play team ball, and practice hard. Mike Brown puts him in the game because we can win with him. Simple as that.
That we will trade out Wally and his expiring contract is all bu certain. But until then he remains professional and contributes regardless. Attacking him as a "Suck Ass" player is jsut a personal attack, and is irrelevant to the situation. This "Suck Ass" old man is playing ahead of Pavs, Kinsey and Jawad, and is getting more minutes than our beloved Boobie. At the end of the day he deserves respect for that if nothing else.
I think we will trade him, and I think that will be a good thing. But Wally has been part of the good team that has materialized this year. Wherever he winds up, I hope they buy out his contract and we resign him in Snow's place.
