Game Thread | Game #9 | Cavs @ Lakers | Nov. 6, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
DG’s eye is still quite swollen (watching the presser)

He's playing on his best team ever with his best backcourt mate ever. That helps. Mitchell is really the least of the opponent's worries. It's the Darius to bigs issue that the opponents really game plan for. In this game there was a lot of LeVert to Allen too.

It's like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dike and four other leaks spring up.

If somebody told me a guy went 1for-23, scoring 27 points, and got 7 rebounds and 4 assists with just 1 turnover in 33 minutes I'd say he played a pretty damn good game. But listening to you guys it sounds like LeBron was 3-for-17.

I swear the scorekeepers made up that stat line. If you added up all the individual stats on that Lakers team you would probably get a wrong final score.

He’s just on a bad team and doesn’t have the ability to just take over a game consistently anymore. He’s still really good!

He drained one 3 late and one shot from the corner of the key but his points were all from about 2 feet from the rim and weren’t clutch at all. Like I mentioned earlier, he’s close to morphing into late career Shaq

LeBron got those stats in his sleep. But he was not even close to the same LeBron in terms of getting his team a W.

Are there any other team in the league that got similar award in their locker room ?

It's interesting that he can generate those numbers with a few bull rushes into the paint, a few fast break finishes, a few mid range shots, and a 29 foot three pointer. The rest of the game he stood and watched from the perimeter with pathetic body language.

And those are my observations as a long time fan of Lebron.
