Do Not Sell My Personal Information
13 total bench points, wow that is bad.

Our big 4 were great, but we need something more from the bench

This, all of this.

Everything is your turn-my turn.

Get these guys in some actions to find them an open three off-ball.
They should be able to run various three man actions with DG, Mitchell, and one of our bigs all night long and get pretty much anything they want. Instead we revert to playground ball.

People seem to think it's really easy to design and execute an offense with three non-shooters on the floor.

You're not trading or benching Allen or Mobley so go ahead and draw up the plays with the available personnel at SF

This team does not communicate on defense!
Come on Cavs…..this 8th grade and HS bullshit! Call out “pick right pick left”, “switch”, “slide through”!!!!! We leave too many open looks at the basket. How did we come out of a time out and not account for Rozier allowing him to hit the shot to send the game into OT????????

I’m concerned that JBB still considers Okoro a “defensive substitution”.

He is one of the most selfish defenders I’ve ever seen. He is a weak communicator and routinely gets murdered by screens in big moments. Klays illegal screen may have been a bad no call but it was a play anyone who’s watched GS saw a mile away.

JBB for some reason trusts him to stay attached to his man and he routinely can’t and we have the most switchable 7 footer in the league we aren’t deploying properly.

Okoro is a lost cause as a Cav.

The Cavs obviously miss Dean Wade badly. I think a lot of our problems we’ve seen can be covered up by Rubio and Wade, not all, but a lot.

We should continue to believe in LeVert and empower him to make two way plays. Benching him out of nowhere despite not being perfect is an over reaction. Stevens is the worst spacer we have in the lineup because he doesn’t even stand in spots to get catch&shoot opportunities.

If Steve Kerr would like a new challenge, maybe the Warriors title days are over, I'd start a go-fund-me to help Dan pay the cost.

Give me that motion offense with this group. Or at least something somewhat similar.

AGain, I understand Curry's ability to move off the ball is a skill just like shooting is, and Draymond is a great screen setting big who does a bunch of little things that don't show up in the stat sheet (like always making sure to push the ball and run hard)....but teach them to be 50% of that and put them in that type of offense.

@Lee

My man, your plan is not working. JBB is literally using Okoro MORE now that LeVert isn't starting.

16 mins in a double OT game?

Thats really not allot. we will see as time goes on.

LeVert played 30 minutes. That's being benched?

Cavs were outscored 35-10 on turnovers. Disgraceful.

They also gave up 17 offensive rebounds. It's a miracle they won.

Another unbelievable choke job as they led by 10 points with 1:45 left. Somehow they let Charlotte scored 14 points in 1:44. Are you freaking kidding me? The Hornets got a layup and then went 4-for-4 from deep.

Other than those four 3's at the end of the 4th quarter they were 10-for-42 from deep.

Mobley had an awesome game with a line of 21/18/5 with 2 steals, 2 blocks, and lots of contested shots that were missed. He's really coming on, but no more 3-point attempts in OT, please.

Allen was a monster with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Garland had a great shooting game with 41 points but those 8 turnovers really hurt. He and Mitchell combined for 14 of the Cavs' 19 turnovers. I love the points but they need to take better care of the ball.

The bench was awful, scoring just 13 points in 72 mintues. But LeVert had a monster defensive play early in the 2nd overtime, stealing the ball from Oubre and also drawing Oubre's sixth foul. Not having him on the floor the last three minutes was huge, especially when Rozier finally ran out of gas after 42 minutes and missed a couple of 3's.

Okoro had five fouls in 16 minutes. He's not a good defender, IMO. He gets beat for buckets as much as anybody and he fouls like crazy. Stevens didn't contribute much, either, going 1-for-5 with 3 points and 3 fouls in 29 minutes. We need Wade badly. And Rubio.

LeVert was 1-for-8. He cannot buy a 2-pointer. His only bucket was a layup. He continues to get open looks right in front of the rim and doesn't come close to making them. He's 2-for-13 the last two games.

If the Hornets had LaMelo they win this one easily. This was not an impressive win. As I feared, the Cavs let Oubre get going and he had 34 points in 37 minutes. Wish we had him on our team.

P.J. Washington was impressive. Averaging 15 points he scored 28 with 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.

The Cavs have some big problems. Their bench sucks. They once again got hammered in the last 2-3 minutes of a game they appeared to have won. And they have nothing at small forward, except possibly Wade.

I'd love to see someone instill that style of basketball here. No doubt JBB will never even try. He just likes to let them play and whatever happens, happens.

The SF spot was always going to be weak. Everyone knew this.

You've still got Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen.

That's two elite playmakers and shooters, two elite lob threats and offensive rebounders.

They should be able to get by with a below league average starter at SF.

If they had a competent offensive system........

Let that sink in. You could have ended the comment right there and it would explain the biggest chunk of our problem. And a lot of the offensive rebounds were on 50/50 balls, just a lack of effort and desire to get to those tonight.
