Do Not Sell My Personal Information
last game thread i deleted stupid posts criticizing optimists. today i deleted stupid posts criticizing pessimists.

next time you go on vacation. and it will be long enough to sting (2nd round of the playoffs)

very, very tired of the bad behavior.

Still worried about Donovan. He just didn’t seem back to normal as the game went on. Hopefully, it’s just rust
I don’t mean this in a snarky way but why would a guy who’s played maybe 6-7 games since the all star break and missed the last two straight weeks immediately be in his groove or flow? Gonna take a couple of game or more.

fun win, lots of good play. mobley taking a 3 with confidence with under 30 seconds. good defensive substitutions. reasonable timeouts down the stretch.

they would just as easily screwed this up with less effort but they played hard and well enough.

what a weird team. :chuckle:

I‘ve been saying all year this team is unpredictable. We held Maxey to 16 but Lowry scores 21. We got murdered on the boards. Don was obviously not himself but gave us 8 assists. Darius 14-12, Niang 25, Sam killed it. Then Mobley hit’s a three to win it. Who had all that on their card tonight?

I was more nervous about this game than any other this season. A loss tonight after Wednesday would be bad heading west for five games. We need two of them.

Tough game. Philly put up a hell of a fight.

JBB did a good job tonight. He adjusted to weak games from Ice and JA. Putting in Morris late was smart.

Individual stats. We had 7 guys in double figures. 34 assists for 45 baskets.

Starters:
Strus 15-1-3 with a steal in 27 minutes.
Mobley 20-11-3 with a steal and 2 blocks. in 31 minutes
Allen 13-11-2 in only 26 minutes. I wonder why he got such short minutes?
Mitchell 12-3-8 with 2 steals in 32 minutes. Welcome back!
Garland 14-3-12 in 35 minutes. Real point guard stats!

Bench: 43-8-5
Okoro 2-0-0- in 15 minutes. Quiet night. He was in foul trouble
Niang 25-0-0 in 31 minutes JYD, IMO 5-8 from 3, 5-6 from 2!
Merrill 13-2-3 in 21 minutes Productive! 4-8 from 3. I'll take that all season.
Morriss 3-5-1 in 17 minutes. Good minutes!
Thompson 0-1-2 in 5 minutes and some good D.

It’s actually pretty normal. Many coaches like to let their guards push and see if they can exploit the defense not having time to get back/set up properly

It only seems like it’s rare because when our coach does it, if it doesn’t succeed It gets called a fireable offense and treated like no other coach in the NBA would ever be so dumb as to do such a thing.

I still am of the mind that we need to part ways with our current coach after the season(could be swayed if they truly outperform expectations in the playoffs) but take umbrage when people get dramatic and hyperbolic with criticism of things they treat as horrible and unique that are actually things done by most other coaches that most other fanbases also complain about
