I am very, very impressed with the way the Cavs were able to contain such a high-octane offense tonight. Granted, they are missing Jamison, but they have so many scorers on that team that they should still be averaging over 100 ppg. Holding them to 90 is absolutely outstanding.
Me too. This was a quality win. SOLID TEAM EFFORT
Cavs: Shaq showed up. Lebron did not have to take over.
Shaq did exactly what I hoped he would do against this team-equalize Brenda Haywood.
Boobie stepped up. Mo was adequate. Parker needs to relax a little bit and start hitting shots, but I liked our depth. If we pick up another PG we will be set at guard.
I would still like to see JJ step up at some point to provide some depth.
Keys were Shaq getting Blache and Brenda Haywood in foul trouble.
Boobie stepping up.
Whizzers: Peed all over themselves. NOT A GOOD TEAM EFFORT
AFter all the hype about the Cavs-they couldn't get it done.
They won the first quarter and when faced with a surging Cavs game-fell completely apart.
Big Zero played his typical game. It's early in the season, but has he learned anything during his long layoff. Play after play he missed team mates and shots for that matter.
WTF happened to Karom Butler (sic) after the first quarter? Was he hurt?
I don't recall hearing from Butler the second half.
The Whizzers have potential, but a long way to go.
So much for scoring 100 plus points.
The Cavs went a long long way to calming all of our fears tonight.
It wasn't the Celtics or Lakers, but it showed the potential this team has.
One happy Northern Virginia resident here!!!
Let me add that the Whizzer commentators are blaming it all on Haywood not getting calls.
The charge and the "hook" that Shaq got a call on got poor Brenda upset and the poor Whizzers couldn't play basketball after that.
Boo effing hoo.
