Not sure if this has been posted, but found this article from yesterday:

I think this might be something interesting to ponder:
It's been bandied about that if the Sixers find someone to take on Elton Brand, they'd include their top pick..
So would you guys take Elton Brand on, if it meant getting the Sixers first round pick?
Obviously I don't know what the Cavs would give up but it'd be most of their assets (picks, expirings, young talent, etc.)..
I think it's something interesting to think about...

Crunch-time lineup:
Mo, Delonte, Iggy, LeBron, Andy... (... ... ...)
Holy shit, son.

They would clearly rather give up Brand. Problem is, according to the insider NO teams have shown interest in him. They don't want to add any of their young talent (excluding Iggy) as incentive for Brand either.Yep. I don't care about his contract....because it's not my money. He's only 30, and he has been playing pretty well since coming off his surgery.
I've been saying that I have a hard time believing they'd rather give up Dalembert over Brand in any Iggy deal. If the Cavs are willing to take Brand, they could get Iggy. I would HIGHLY doubt anybody else would take on Brand and his contract just to get Iggy. But, who knows.
