You know what maybe he cured the Curse with that statement for once a Owner stood up and fought back over any star that left. You know what If you got the Cash screw LeBron lets still be the best fans we can Be and rally The Cavs no matter what. The players and the team needs us as much as we need them. Im with Gilbert and I still hope even with out LeBron we still show up as fans and root this team like we would If we still did. You want to show LeBron and the world what Our fans can do. I will rally behind Gilbert and I am glad he stood up like a man and took on a Global Icon. So yes sir Gilbert just might have lifted the Curse. Kudos to Mo we need more players like him, Who want to win... and I think the whole team turned on James at one point, Even Shaq gave LeBron death eyes during the Play Offs. At least we know we got Holmgren and Gilbert now.. Lets show the world you don't need a "super star" to win! Ok I said my piece. Sorry had had to be from your post you made a good point though... I loved reading the "letter" to the fans but come on... Gilbert is partly to blame for LeBron's attitude. It has been his culture of giving to LeBron that created this ego...

If Lebron had said "staying at home as a Cav" then you think all of LeBron's pre-madonna stuff would still be upseting to Gilbert?

I have never been prouder to be a Cavaliers fan than tonight, after reading this letter.

He may not play ball, but in the long run, I'd rather have Dan Gilbert as our owner than five #23's in the starting lineup, now that both have revealed what kind of men they truly are. I firmly believe this franchise will win a championship, and we will do it the right way. Trust in Gilbert.

I love Gilbert's fury....not so sure about the guarantee though....makes for interesting televsion and Cavs-Heat games.

Here is what I do know....Dan Gilbert understands public relations, LeBron does not.

Dan Gilbert also has a set of BALLS and knows how to be a leader, LeBron James does not.

The first caller on "last call" sounds like Windy. IMO

That was what all of us diehard fans wanted to hear, it was amazing to read. I love Dan Gilbert, i don't care what backlash he might get , that was an amazing letter.
